I'm a really big fan of this mod but for some reason the animations randomly stop loading and it just uses the vanilla ones after like 1 or 2 sessions and I have to redownload it, any idea on what the issue might be here?
it's not caused by your animation, but just want to ask, do you have any ideas that why some of mod weapons especially for rifle type, would always aiming at ground for npc no matter what they're doing? From what I know, this bug was already appear in vanilla game's rifle weapons with or without any mods, but I never saw anyone deep discussing it or have a fix
Gun idle anims dont appear to work for me on the Barret? Character is standing slightly sideways, then they turn as if to stand square on, but immediately turn back to side again? Like they cant decide if they want to stand straight or sideways? Works fine on Vanilla weapons though? Just trying to figure out which files effect the gun relaxed idles and why modded guns are ignoring them O_o
*fixed random installed mod was setting new anim path for something - pays to check every single mod you install with fo4edit to see if theres anything in it that shouldnt be there - like a sound pack containing a new line for idle anims for no reason... :P
FYI, The turn animation appears to be bugged in this. By default, turning right is quite jerky and awkward. Specifically it looks like an unintended animation is actually being used instead of the correct one.
What I mean is that there are 2 files in "Meshes\Actors\Character\Animations\Weapon\GripRifleStraight" called:
As you can see, the top file is spelled incorrectly but appears to actually be the intended animation file. When I deleted the bottom file, and corrected the spelling of the top file, the turn animation became much smoother.
