99% sure it's either a borked install of this patch or horizon itself, because all versions have weapon kit functionality. I just went back to 1.3 myself to make sure, I'll probably add a change log at some point, but nothing should be affecting that.
No problem, I'll be touching up this patch sometime soon. It's fully functional but I'll probably change some of the attachment stats and add patch support for the MK18 addons
Actually I did, couldnt find the lower handguard and mags has the icon from a book. but otherwise havent found anything crucial, yet just started playing with it.
Oh I know the problem you're having, grips are dependent on the Handguard you're using and shorter ones don't have access to grips. This is the case with a lot of weapon mods actually. I'll upload a new patch fixing the book display for Mags in a bit. Thanks for letting me know.

Error message is "This weapon cannot be changed". I also noticed that I don't see weapon condition in the workbench.
Feels like it's half connected to the Horizon, if you know what I mean.
EDIT: I'm on version 1.3. A changelog would be appreciated.
Had tactical reload installed. The animation mod made changes to the weapon. Fixed it through xEdit.
