Unless I am completely off my rocker (possible), occupancy is not setup correctly in your mod; specifically, the [iMaxOccupants] variable in the Level Plans (i.e., MsB_LevelPlan_BuildingPlan_*) is set to the default (i.e., 1) where it should be correlated to the bunk count. I can only speculate as to why you're not seeing the issue (an old file, a bad upload, etc.), but it is definitely not working as it should be.

In the case MsBathory has gone AFK, I can provide a patch if anyone is interested.
I think based on my own playtime with SS2 City Planning that MsBathory is using the old version of the script which was used to make plots, since the download link got soon updated after this mod was released and was an error of Kinggaths part to have an old link available at that time
Any updates on either a patch or an updated main file? I really like the look of these plots but only having one settler assigned to each kinda defeats the purpose.
WRT releasing a patch, unfortunately, I think I spoke too soon. As I understand it now and based on the original author's permissions, their permission is required -- I have tried contacting them via a couple different channels and others have joined the hunt as well, but still no response. If anyone has a better understanding of the rules/guidelines WRT patching, please contact me.
In the interim, I created an entirely new mod (Shazbot's Cots) that doesn't exactly replace this mod, but it fills some of the gaps left behind.
My apologies for speaking out of turn on this one...
is there anything else to this? Ive used this mod for a bit now and never figured out that it was broken until i came to the comments. I really like the concept of this mod and would really like a patch.
The problem others stated is not about your mod's residential plots having how many beds (or how many bed it displays or contribute to the settlement's total beds count), but about how many settlers can be assigned to the plot. Multiple-settler plots should be able to be assigned for many settler but your plot only enables one settler for the plot.
One of those mods, that is very needed and almost essential. Unfortunately, it has issues, several plots that say multi person and only allow one. Then there are the costs! Some of these cost more than mid/late game advanced plots. Hopefully everything will get sorted in time. Thank you for taking the time and effort to improve our game.
Any chance you could make it an ESL-capable ESP file? WIth the size of my load order, its sorta hard to justify using a ESP slot for this small of a mod. I could do it myself for my own use, but others would benefit also. Thanks in any case.
I have the same question as NathanOTWeb! For a mod that says it's "Ultra light, 1x1 bare bones residential plans for interior use with Sim Settlements 2. THESE PLANS COME WITH ONLY THE BEDS." These are your own words from the Description of the mod. Why do they require so much wood and other resources from Organics and Machine Parts plots even at lvl 1 of the plots? Is it a vanilla issue with the base materials required by the game itself to build these items? Don't get me wrong I really like the mod as it gives players more options for settlements that we build manually to try and avoid among things like the now square of death (Sanctuary, Red Rocket, Abernathy Farm and Tenpines.)
Is it just level 3 you're having the issue with? My game is correctly displaying 2 beds for L1&2. L3 worked before and I'm not sure when it broke (I haven't touched it since), but I'll put it on the fix list. I'll wait a bit to see if anything else pops up before updating, for now you can turn on manual upgrades for the plot and leave it on level 2.
Sorry, I was testing the plots using the "force plot level" command. Maybe that's the reason; I forgot that this command may cause all sorts of issues.
I can confirm this is the case in other plots also: one example is Military cots duo atleast on lvl 1. It only “houses” on settler but it counts as a two bed in the settlement count but because it only “houses” one settler it only provides taxes for one settler and so on
Might wanna check the other plots also as I have only build few plots of this for now but only just now noticed this issue as they do count as beds so it’s hard to notice it
My game is showing the correct amount of beds on all the other plans, across all levels. Any chance you're building/levelling up plots via console? I find the more you do (between reloads), the less reliable the plot spawns become, needing multiple refreshes or even fully rebuilding the entire plot.
Can confirm that Couples Quarter counts as 1 bed at level 3 after normal leveling. Plus it seems like it can house only one settler at levels 1-2, despite counting as 2 beds. Same problem with Military coats duo - one houses 1 settler, counts as 2 beds.
Why does this mod require such high level materials for these plots? It's only a cot and sleeping bag. Why so much wood and other resources from Organics and Machine Parts plots?
Hey would you be able to add on the asam holo icons how many people are living in your muli bed plots? it currently only shows a man for lets say your 3 Military Cot Bed when theres 3 people in the plot not just one.
