You could put actual food in the skillet as new upgrade options. Just imagine having to stop and ask "wait a minute, i've been wailing on dudes for weeks....how has this spam and eggs not fallen out by now? It's mysteriously always in the same, smiley face shape it always is"
so a few ideas that would be cool a heated modification for every version other than rusty and a golden unique that is hidden somewhere in one of the vaults that turns people into golden ash on crit kills and does additional energy damage also an optional sound replacer that uses the iconic valve clang sound
that is the correct sound the MA made the sound by hitting their knee with a frying pan (or so i heard) an optional file with the valve sound (it's used in both left 4 dead and TF2) would be cool though for people who prefer it
This is the most satisfying melee weapon I've used. Hell, it may be the most satisfying weapon. Period. When I first used it, I thought there might just be a dull "thud". Nope. Instead, there's a wonderful "CLANG!" I busted out laughing. I've used it agains all manner of creatures and humans with great succes.. Then, again, I'm at Lvl 126, so I could hit a human with a toothpick and still hi them. Regardless, I've set aside my swords, knives and clubs. The Frying Pan is now favorited for quick access. IRL, I use my cast iron skillet for nearly all my cooking. I now have another use for it.
