Immediately works flawless for me. I can actually play stealth now. It's no longer broken. Unironically: It just works.
Really, I'm very happy with it. Vanilla stealth seemed so utterly broken, I could be covered in stealth friendly items and perks, reduce weight, do everything "correct" and, well, if vanilla stealth worked then I would not be here. From the very first engagement, not even 4 minutes in, stealth felt "right" in my game for the first time. It's literally a new game experience now lmao.
What a game-changer of a mod! I've always wanted to do a stealth playthrough that only uses silenced pistols and knives, but because of how terrible the stealth mechanics are, I just end up busting out the big guns. Downloaded and tested this mod at the Corvega Assembly Plant and cleared the place out like I was playing Splinter Cell/Hitman 3.
Good MOD, thank you. For some reason though, I seem to be more vulnerable to enemies after using this module? So what mechanism does this module use to determine this? The previous sneaking mechanism takes into account light, sound, and the player's agility value as well as the enemy perception value. But when I was testing this mod, I used the code to increase the player's agility value to 100 and crouched in the dark, and the enemies spotted me from a longer distance.
This dosent work for me i installed the mod using mod manager 2 tried mid game started a new game too didnt work in both cases can someone please help.
Using version 5c and I have to say it feels so good!! Makes all the gameplay and alternative approach mods I've installed mean something! (Tactical Distraction etc.) Thank you SO MUCH <3
I saw your comment in GCM (Game Configuration Menu) and it points me to this mod. I want to use both. But I do have questions.
First GCM settings. e.g. Sneak settings.
GCM has a default, but when the character advances in level, stealth equipment and gears, stealth magazines etc etc. a. Does the GCM sneak setting changes automatically in background to a new number? b. Or the advances added to character is not visible in GCM sneak settings? c. Or the GCM sneak settings override everything including the PC advances? what to do with GCM sneak settings ?
Next your SNEAK mod. Do I really need to change anything? will it override GCM immediately ?
Is it safe to uninstall this midgame? Even with the hardest option, I can still walk up to my enemies and not have them get alerted. Especially turrets, it won't target you even if you shoot it. I don't have other stealth mods or perk mods. I also have only 2 agility and always charge in blasting, throwing grenades and making noise with my automatic rifles and the enemies still won't come to aid their allies getting murdered.
Is there a way to increase the search time, I find the idea of them giving up on the search after seeing there friends head blown off too unrealistic, I would prefer a much longer search time then vanilla, what setting in the mod would change this and are there any recommend values?
