Inspire by Better Jetpack (Faster and Longer) and Infinite Sprinting Out of Combat, with my personal tweak. Credits goes to them.



*This mod does not include a jetpack. It only change the thrust setting*
This mod only change the jetpack thrust setting, so you can fly now.
Use this mod with the Vanilla power armor jetpack, or you can download any other jetpack mod to use with this.

Yon have 5 vertical speed option: 1000, 500, 400, 350, 250.
500 is the one that I use in my video. 500 will give you lots of vertical speed, which is my personal favorite. Choose 400 or 350 if you don't want to fly that high. Choose 250 for low level flying. Choose 1000 if you want to go sky rocket.

* If you don't want the AP drain and want to stay in the sky forever, check out the Optional File. *

Compatible:

Since I only change the thrust number, so it should be compatible with every other jetpack mod, such as CROSS Jetpack and Jetpacks FAO v5
If you are using Personal Jetpack, place my mod behind it.
Will not compatible with Jetpack Overhaul, because that mod is changing the thrust setting as well.



Instruction:

By holding "Jump" only, you will go vertically upward.
Keep holding "Jump" when you fly.
As long as you are holding the "Jump" bottom, you should be able to stay in the sky.
If you hit "Forward" or "Backward" in the sky, you should be able to fly forward or backward.
If you "Sprint" in the air, you can fly a lot faster.
The jetpack drain has reduce to 0.1, so you can fly a lot longer.

Optional File:

If you want to make your jetpack fly super fast (horizontally), you can use one of my optional file. The optional file will further increase your speed when you "Sprint" while flying.
* Sprint is when you are using your AP point. Run and walk don't cost AP point. *

Power Armor Sprint Speed boost - This file will add a speed boost to all the power armor when you are sprint flying. Speedmult was set to 120.

Wedding Ring Sprint Speed boost - If you're wearing your wedding ring, your wedding ring will give you a speed boost when you are sprint flying.  Speedmult was set to 120.
If you lost your wedding ring, use the console command:   player.additem 8925C

Flying No AP Drain - If you don't want any AP drain while flying, you can use this file. You can stay in the air forever.



Other Recommendation :

For people that don't want any fall damage, try this mod No Fall Damage.
If you are using CROSS Jetpack, you can try this one CROSS Jetpack Impact Dampener v3 - No Fall Damage.



What I did in the main file:

* If you know how to use FO4edit, you can tweak these number by yourself. *

fJetpackThrustInitial = 500  (This is the vertical speed, increase this number if you want to fly vertically faster)
fJetpackDrainSustained = 0.1  (If you set this number to 0, jetpack will no longer cost AP while flying )
fJetpackTimeToSustained = 0.1
fJetpackDrainInital = 0.1
fJetpackThrustSustained = 100 (If this number is 100, then it will counter gravity exactly; If this number is lower than 100, you will slowly descend after the jump; If this number is higher than 100, you will fly vertically even faster )
