FYI, once you have the mod installed, you can use FO4Edit/xEdit to open up slots. Caution: Any clipping would need to be fixed in a mesh editor like Outfit Studio.
Am I missing something? I've installed and activated the file, went to console to add item and put in the exact item number you gave and it says it doesn't exist. I'm new to modding so its probably something obvious I've overlooked but any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
xx should be substituted with the index number from your load order. You can check this through a mod manager or through the console’s help command. Type: help “Chinese stealth helmet” 0
when I look for it in console using help it says "compiled script not saved" I installed it through NMM, like I said I'm new to this so I might be overlooking something that would be obvious to other people lol
I think I've figured out why your mod isn't working for me. Do I have to have the creation club version of this for your mod to work? If so that explains everything.
I know the issue has been resolved already, but I'm just confused a bit because it shouldn't say "compiled script not saved" unless given an invalid command. (A search of a non-existent item is still considered a valid command.) It should have just said the search parameters and the command info on how to use the help command. I always had trouble in the past if I used the help command for anything longer than one word, so I got used to only one word between "help" and "0", but I just tested a command with multiple words within quotes and it worked this time. I wonder if that was something added in a mod like the unofficial patch or script extender. I don't know. Anyway, cool mod. It seems insanely OP for the average user having the rad resistance of the hazmat suit with the regular resistances of a fairly decent set of armor at the same time, but it does take up all the armor slots, so it makes a bit of sense in a way.
The .esp is its own slot, but I might add an .esl flag down the line so that it doesn't. At least, I think that's how it works. I don't want to use an .esl file, because that has limitations on load order, but from what I understand, you can add an .esl flag with FO4Edit that achieves the same thing but allows the user to move it to wherever they wish in a load order.
And yeah, it's actually kinda crazy how beefed up the suit is in 76, but it has to compete with full armour sets in an online setting so it makes sense. I don't wear it all the time, but it's good to know I won't die instantly if I do put it on.

can you add a Legendary Modification Slot ?
Also, does this .esp take up a slot? Or does it override the .esl of the original Creation Club variant?
