    This is an awesome mod. Two questions though, are you planning to do the X-01 and or make a replacer version of this mod?

      I just made a standalone version which includes all of the power armors a little while ago.

    Can you make a matching power armor frame?

      There are already lots of power armor frame texture mods out there that work nicely with this. Here is the one I used in the screenshots:

    Nothing bad about your mod, but vanilla doesn't look plastic, and why would any of them be raw metal? By your definition real life tanks have plastic look, none of them are raw metal either. Raw metal would oxidize and be exposed to elements, so vanilla looks like you'd expect - still having places where coating hasn't come off and places where coating has worn off or metal being exposed to elements.

      Hence, why we have galvanized metal (most likely what the T-45d is coated with). But this is a neat paint job, nonetheless.

      I called it raw metal in the description because the game files refer to the metal skins for the T-60 and T-51 as raw metal. I guess it's subjective whether or not the default paint job looks plasticky, but it certainly looks that way to me.

      To me vanilla does indeed look like plastic or playdoh textured which I dislike.

      @Bordraw Thanks for sharing this.

      actually, Most weapons and such also sport None-shiny surfaces cause they make you harder to spot, rather than a shiny piece of armor that can instantly give away your hiding position, and the ambush/stealth attempt is ruined

      I sincerely hope that no one's having a hard time spotting someone wearing power armor. If that's the case I would suggest turning around, it's practically bullying to be fighting the blind.

      Well I don't know about that, they manage to effectively camoflage tanks in real life, so I wouldn't say it's impossible to hide a big suit of power armor. Mostly this is just the wrong discussion to have, I didn't make this mod to be realistic, I made it because it looks cool.

    It looks pretty cool in game for sure. Looks like power armor used to.
    Since you floodfilled all of the specular maps with solid black, you can make those small, like 8x8 pixels so they don't waste space. But they appear to be saved in the wrong format. The specular maps ( and normal maps ) for FO4 are saved in 3Dc, not any of the DXT compressions, and certainly not in ARGB8x24. It's actually why yours appears to be shinier than the vanilla. Because it isn't reading properly.
    Check out Quixel's forums regarding PBR and what's being done with metalness maps.

      If that were true, wouldn't the grimy bits be reflective?

    Thanks for this great texture! I also love your T-51 Unpainted. Do you also plan on making one for the XO-1, because the T-60 already looks like your retextured versions of T-45 and T-51?

      I wasn't planning on it, since the plasticky looking finish for the X-01 doesn't bother me as much, but a lot of people seem to be asking so I guess I will consider it.

    Do you think you could make something like this for the X-01 too? The default bare metal looks too purple and plastic.
