Thank goodness for this, I tried finding a merge patch that added only these mods but didn't succeed until now haha. I found it odd though considering I think these are the most immersive music mods on nexus.
Hi there! I'm trying to merge only Radium and Fallout Suite. I tried using Fo4Edit and was able to make a patch dependant on the two music mods, but I don't think I did it right? It seems to work in game, but it also sounds like there's long silences between tracks, and sometimes a track ends abruptly without transition. Any ideas how I could improve it?
I managed to fix the broken records for Radium 2.7.1, and I also fixed a typo in your original mod (in DLC03MUSExplore MUSzFadedGlory22 appeared twice, I think it's meant to be MUSzFadedGlory23). If you can share it with the community that would be really nice. Thanks!
If you guys want Radium to work, you'll need to remove the ESL flag from the mod.
Load xEdit and select Radium.esp.
Let the plugins load. Once it's done, click the + sign next to Radium.esp on the left side. You'll get a sub-menu.
We want File Header. See the Record Flags (sorted) section on the right? That's where the ESL flag is. We need to remove it. Double click where it says ESL above NULL.
Uncheck that ESL and close the menu. It should look like this now:
Close xEdit. Save Radium.esp before you do. Make sure the X is checked. This saves the changes you made.
You should be good to go.
You can also follow Fox's advice and just download an older version. This guide is an alternative if you just need the newest, shiniest version.
Note: You can also add ESL flags to mods using this method. Just remember to run an error check before you close. Some mods cannot be ESLified.
Just fyi, this doesn't resolve the issue totally. Because it was converted to an ESL, the mods records were renamed. What you need to do is load the Merge, remove the "error, couldn't resolve" items in the lists, and replace them with the equivalent Radium songs. It just takes a couple minutes. @WhiskyTangoFawks you're welcome to my copy of the changed esp to upload as a "fixed version."
This have to be one of the best music mods merged together, these tracks fit so nicely with Fallout like they would have been there from the beginning. Thanks!

also does this fix the vault 88 bug in Faded Glory? I saw there was a fixed plugin replacer for that but it uses compacted form records
