Nice texture. The jagged teeth are really cool but I think vanilla style teeth are scarier. Something about the clenched teeth with that grin is just plain unsettling.
It's because you can't tell what emotion it's conveying. It's why the moon from the original Majora's Mask is so damn disturbing: it's showing a mix of a few different emotions. The monkey is like a much less extreme version of that
I think your "Clown HD" is less scarry than vanilla
I will never forget my first encounter with this thing in Fallout 4 (in the previous part somehow those were not as bad for some reason). It was a stormy night and I was stuck in the middle of nowhere, just me the ocean, sandy coast and lightning strikes cutting through pitch black sky. The only kind of shelter nearby was an abbandoned marina. Not being able to see much, I've stridded into the middle of it and almost bumped into damned Legendary Mirelurk. Without thinking I've ducked into nearest cover -falling apart dinner- before this thing turned around. And there it was. Started screaching right behind my back, flashing red beams from eyes and it was going to blow! I've jumped right were I was standing and after the initial shock I made use of my quick hands and grabbed the explosive in the last second. Only to realise I wasn't there alone with only one lone Legendary Mirelurk and in horror I counted all the crabby -some glowing nuclear green- legs moving towards me. I swear the monkey stretched it's lips, showing perfectly squared teeth in maniacal smile, while looking at me with its haunted metal eyes and waiting.
LOL. This thing scared the f%@K out of me the first time I met it in a dark corner of some place. I use a good pair of headphones and I was being all sneaky concentrating on the super mutants movements. Then this thing went off right besides me. I had a mini heart attack that day. Now every time I see these things I blow their heads off.
Yeah, first time I met one of these it was in the Corvega Plant. I didn't know that it was active or that's what they did at the time as I was new to Fallout 4, but I kept hearing this noise (the little screech it makes when it switches on) and wondered what it was. I looked toward a filing cabinet as it started to clap it's cymbals and there it was, eyes red, sadistically staring deep into your thoughts. I was so creeped out I didn't notice the [ CAUTION ] getting closer and closer until a Raider rounded the corner. I stabbed him quickly but he had already shot at me and alerted the rest. I decided to use the bladed tire-iron I found and go in for a melee attack on the monkey to see if I could disable it, which worked obviously. Jeez, I was just shook after that lmao.

and non-scary version
