The keywords for it are missing.  You would have to add them in via the CK or FO4edit.  If you do please post it and let us know where.  I spoke to the mod author years ago about updating this mod as a functional armor piece with a legendary slot, ballistic weave slot, etc.  He was totally cool with it as long as credit was given for the texture work he'd already done.

I've screen shot the conversation with him but honestly I'm having trouble figuring out how to post it, or upload it to the nexus.  This is the best I could figure out for now.  Permissions can be seen here?.

How do you get the beret? Console commands? If so what is the command?

OK, so I got the beret through console commands, but its invisible, has no critical effect, and it makes me bald for some reason.

      1) Mod Author states in the description that he is new to modding and you can only get the beret via console commands, which means it is likely not added to the level list either. His suggestion was to use the console with the command of Help Beret 0 however I would use Help Beret 4 instead. Feel free to let us know which one works.

      2) You are not seeing the beret, and appear bald, because you are missing the texture files for some reason. If you installed with NMM, try to manually install it instead. Should fix the issue for you.

Could you please make an red Brohterhood of Nod Beret like this one at command & conquer renegade but with a black nod emblem on it? That would be cool but if you make this please make a full standalone one because if you make a simple retexture the Baret from your NCR gear mod would also be changed and thats not good because i build an Ncr embassy with some ncr soldiers in one of my settlements.

For me its improtant because i replaced the minuteman leveledlist so they wear army fatigues, army helmet, military fatigues, military beret, your 1st recon beret and covenatn security armor and the m16 service rifle but i dont upload this anywhere because i dont made my own replacer, i simplly changed an replacer available here on nexus.(because of my lack of knowlege in modding)

I have not found an other mod that let me have a red and a black baret at the same time and it is a bit strange for me that my minuteman have the same beret like the soldiers in the ncr embassy and that the minuteman have an ncr emblem on thair specieal forces berets.

You may want to check out Militarized Minutemen. They have a black and blue beret with the MM logo on it. Also lots of other options such as a MM helmet that actually fits female heads, etc which you can decorate with various items. One of my favorites is the ability to add camo patterns to the helmet, as well as decorate it with a Red Cross if your have set up one of your followers (such as when using Amazing Follower Tweaks) as a Medic. The back packs included in the mod also offer a lot of customization, including a Medic's backpack which obviously go along well with the aforementioned helmet decoration.

If this is a Replace Texture for the default Beret, it doesnt work for me. I had a Beret (black colored) before installing this. After activating it`s still black. Whats wrong?

I was thinking of making standalone military fatigues in the NCR colors
I'm not good at actually editing meshes and stuff, but evidently I can make standalone clothing with different textures, haha.

is this based on 1st Recon Beret mod by RacistRaccoon

      http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4848/?
ps i think your find that this is how the beret insignia looked like

      http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/fallout/images/9/92/NCR_1st_Recon.png/revision/20110718223211
your see the insignia has a golden outerlyer & is taller instead of wider, basely make it look exactly like it did in fallout new vegas in the images above so could you please make a version of this

No, I didn't even know that mod existed.

And I will edit the textures at some point when I learn how to edit normal maps.

It looks a tad flat at the moment to me as well, but it's the best I could do at the current time and it's a learning process.
