New game is not required when using presets. The same is true when using any preset. It sounds like you don't have the morph related mods installed correctly.
HiPoly Faces (No patch required) Female Neck Tweaks (Editor's Choice v2) Asian Face Enhanced These three mods are related to morphs.Morphs affect the shape of facial expressions and parts.If any of these mods are installed incorrectly, the face will be destroyed.

Asian Face Enhanced Asian Face v1.3 It is stated that Asian Face v1.3 is not needed, but it might be. There is also a morph mod called Oni cute asian face parts, so you can try using that as well. By the way, it is stated that AsianFace Preset7 and Preset9 are required, but correctly it is only required if you want to adapt this preset to Piper. You do not need them if you are using them for a player or a different npc.
I read the manual and installed all morph-related modes correctly (using mo2), but still look like this... I've solved the mouth problem, but eyebrows still have same problem...

hello :) Load orders are not a problem. EyeLiner04_d EyeLiner05_d Put these two files in the TintMasks folder. FemaleEyesAOChargen FemaleEyesWetChargen FemaleLashesChargen These three files should be placed in the Fallout 4\Data\meshes\actors\character\characterassets\FaceParts folder. If you use HiPoly Faces REDUX, be sure to install the HiPoly Faces REDUX - Asian Face Enhanced Patch in the Optional files.
Try it and if you can't do it, tell me again.Also, there is a mod called Toothpick Stretching Mouth Bug Fix, but it conflicts with HiPoly Faces REDUX (Seamless Kit - CBBE - TWB - FG) and makes the face collapse.Please note that this may conflict with BaseFemaleHeadChargen.tri included in HiPoly Faces REDUX - Asian Face Enhanced Patch.
I went back to vortex, mo2 is not for me, and I think i finally got it. It looks a bit off but it's probably the lighting/enb. Thanks again for the replies, and great mod by the way!
I saw your screenshot.It is a perfect reproduction.The slight difference is due to the ENB and my shooting environment. I use NMM to manage my mods.I don't think that is the cause, but part of the possibility.It is old software and I do not recommend it, but so far I am comfortable with it.Thanks for using my presets.If you have any more questions, you can always ask me.

But I followed your instructions re load order and downloaded all of the requirements, but got horrible results. I would be grateful if you could help me. I am getting an ugly face when I apply your preset, a nose that is too big and eyebrows that look horrible. I will share the pic and my load order.

I read the comments thread and also saw that you recommend to delete Eyeliner05_d and revert back to original - I do not know how to do this, as I have B2A compressed files and do not know how to find this file nor do I know how to "revert to original" Thank you for contributing to the community. I hope you can extend some more patience to me and please forgive my noobish questions. I hope you can help.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I looked at the load order, but one thing I don't understand as I use NMM. What is the difference between the screen on the left and the screen on the right? Why is AsianFace and LooksMenu Customization Compendium not disabled on the left side screen? And usually with NMM, the presence of maya.esp as in the right screen is a sure cause of face collapse. In other words, they cannot coexist. Please uninstall Maya - CustomRace Female Preset completely. Once you have done that, go to this page and download ReSaver 6.0.310 to clean the garbage out of the latest saved data you are using. You can find out how to use it by looking it up. Try it once.

I cannot for the life of me, figure out how to get rid of the brown face bug, I have installed everything the mod author listed on the description to get this to work, but nothing. I do not have the HD DLC pack installed as that is absolute crap. That is the only thing I can think of that might be preventing me from getting this mod to work. But if there is a workaround.... maybe?

First of all, thank you for the fast response. So, since you said that If I were to find any files different in size in said folder, I found that there were some files from Looks Menu Customization Compendium were not matching the necessary file size. I uninstalled it and the "brown face bug" was no longer there. I did try Rusty Face Fix before and that never worked either.
I guess Looks Menu Customization Compendium was the root cause in my case.

Maybe it doesn't fit your environment.

I think the cause is probably the loading order.
You could try changing the order.
