Earlier today I was experiencing a bug in the game (wife walking outside the chamber when she was supposed to be inside) so I disabled all of my mods to see if something was messing with it. Coincidentally, the patch that was released today installed before I could start the game up again. Anyway, I disabled all of my mods and started FO4 only to be greeted with the main menu and then the game closing. I tried opening it normally a few times but nothing worked. I then enabled all of my mods and it worked again. Then I uninstalled them again to see which mod was allowing the game to run, and it was the old version of this mod. I just made sure not to disable it again, otherwise the game wouldn't start.

Just a few minutes ago I realized there was a new update out for this mod. So I stupidly installed this one and deleted the older version. I had forgotten about making sure not to delete that mod. Well I've looked in my download folder and recycle bin and cannot find the old version, so FO4 will not run.

Could you either release the older version of this mod for download again or could someone find out why in the world a mod that changes the dialogue interface would prevent the game from crashing?

EDIT: NEVER MIND I solved the issue on my own.

Could you explain how you solved it? I'm having the issue too.

I get the same thing, what did you do to fix it?

EDIT: I fixed it by reinstalling 4.0, making a copy of the backup strings folder in Fallout4/Data, uninstalling 4.0, then renaming the copy to "strings".
