Hiya I love the idea of this mod, just a Q. you have a patch to do that Rio rifle in 38/45 my Q is, will the baddies be using those ammo, because the other guns are using the 45-70 (revolver for ex), will the bad guys be carrying the correct ammo for the guns they carry?
Just by chance did you try to add the Winchester 1873 but FO4Edit keeps throwing an error? Found a CELL reference expected?
It's the only weapon mod I've used when trying to add weapons like that that simply says "no go".
I've tried reverting it back to an .ESP and no matter what I do it throws that error when trying to add it.
Added: If it helps I separated Levers into two categories: [Hunting], i.e. .45-70, .30-30 Win, .35 Rem. These I have spawn wherever a Hunting Rifle does. AND [Carbines]. i.e. .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .45 colt, .44-40, etc. These I have spawn either with Pipe Rifles or Assault Rifles - and pretty much envision it as a replacement for the Radium Rifle.
Reason I did this is that on the mainland, mostly what you would see would be Carbines, whereas at Far Harbor you'd much more likely see hunting type levers seeing it is a much more remote location.
No, what I was asking was did you try to add the Winchester 1873, since it is a pretty popular mod I figured you might have - hence my asking. I tried and all I get is an error in FO4, even when using the .ESP fixes and even when using 4estGimp's
It's the only mod I can't add using this method of the 100 or so that I've tried.
You'd have to manually patch it as I don't use the mod nor do I intent to make a patch for it as it seems like a lot of work for a niche application (as I intent to make my own combined mod with everything together).

I have no errors in FO4edit.
There are no CELL references.
