    After installing this my companions suddenly became killable? Like I can go into a settlement now and kill Preston in a few shots? Any ideas, everyone asides a select few companions are no longer registering as essential characters

      Maybe try re-enabling their essential status via the console? Just a thought.

      Couldn't imagine how this could do that. FO4Edit, only touches the Professor.

    Groovy, this will have to be my primary settlement in my next playthrough! I too had no idea he was actually script-disabled and similarly thought he was just getting killed somewhere because Bugthesda.

    This is wonderful. I agree about it being good if he and Deezer are moddable in the Robot Workbench, by the way.

    Will this conflict with hitting him up with Make Any NPC A Settler's bat file?

    I had no idea he was actually disabled, I just assumed he kept wandering off and dying - as generally when I visit Sunshine Tidings for the first time I grab the mag and move on without clearing it and he follows me for a bit
