I've tried many movement speed mods but this is definitely the best for me. All the other are always way too slow. This mod makes fighting fast monsters like Deathclaw so much scarier.

Would this work in FOLON? I don't know if you edit NPC invudually or some kind of general file they all pull from?

This edits Movement Type, not NPCs directly. If FOLON NPCs use these Movement Types then it will work. Unless FOLON doesn't have Fallout4.ESM as a master.

What a great mod to have with  "Uneducated Shooter" and "Automatically Lowered Weapons" for movement overhaul, the slower strafing speed really incentivize me for leaning. Also, adding this to Fallout4.ini also help make movement a bit snappier for me. Endorsed!

when you say "RAW INPUT mod - identical fixes are included."  are you saying that this mod included RAW input fixes or that raw input includes the fixes in this mod? Also, do you change direction speed at all? like moving backwards is slower compared going forward or like strafing is slower also?

Raw Input edits are included in my mod. I will revisit the page to make it clearer, thanks.
Yes, backwards running is slower than forwards running. Left & right running is slower than forwards running.
Only exception is walking - that has the same speeds for each direction.

Super Mutants are way too fast in my game for whatever reason, was wondering if this mod makes them slower or faster?

Oh boy, now that nuke-carrying green boy is even scarier now.

Because it adjust NPC's movement including DLC - there's a non DLC option in the downloads as well

Dear corpz, I don't know if you still want to work on the mod. I love the speed of normal running and walking. That's perfect.
The only thing I would like is for the sprint speed to also be significantly reduced. Could you please take a look at this?

Or, if you no longer want to be active here - where can I set this setting without changing the other values of the mod?

PS: I use the version "Movement Speed Tweak - NPC and Player"

Thanks for your help. I set the value to 270. Now the lady no longer looks like a decathlete attempting a record. With 50 kg additional weight.

Great mod. Been using it for a long time. I just reinstalled FO4 and a whole bunch of mods using Nexus Mod Manager 0.84.8 and it installs without error or warning and it says "installed" on the mods tab with a green 'swoosh' (sorry, not a native speaker). However no plugin is placed in my data folder and therefore not (visible) in the plugins tab. Manually installing fixed it. Just FYI. Thanks and endorsed long ago!

Edit: 16 may 2023: apologies, it appears NMM installs some mods incorrect by not unpack subfolders and thus placing ESP and BA2 files not directly into DATA directory. I have run into another glitch I did not encounter in my previous playthough. With weapons holstered, this mod works as intended but whenever I draw a weapon, my movement speed is back to vanilla. Both mod added weapons I've tried us Tactical Reload. Placing MOVTspeedTweak - Player.esp last in load order does not fix it. Any ideas?

Hey there. I have no idea why you'd be having that movement issue as I can't replicate it on my end also I do not use TR sorry.
Btw I'd highly recommend you switch to Mod Organizer 2.

Thanks for replying. My gues us that TR interferes somehow. I'll troubleshoot some more. Maybe a simple LO issue. Thanks again, cheers. Edit 4:32PM: I'm on my phone now so cant check it but what does meta.ini do?

MO2 uses the meta.ini in each mod that just stores data on how MO2 should display the mod and its statuses in the left pane.

Yeah I figured something like that last night. I haven't found the culprit though. I use TR, Button Lowered Weapons and Quick Draw (to always use fast equip animations). I'll fumble around FO4Edit some more.

Can you make a version that doesn't require DLCs?
