I know it's a long shot, but any chance to update this one now as BNS v3.0 is out... ? 🤭🤤

Well, that lag comes from broken precombines and additional trees placed in worldspaces, not really from the textures. Downscaling textures resolution might help a bit but fixing precombines and eventually removing some trees would be the best solution for lagging.

There is already one for that mod. Clearly you didnt search the nexus. I use it.

Heads up tho for me at least the original mod causes quite a bit of stuttering unfortunately

Tried using it with BNS 2.2 (the last performance-friendly version) and sadly it did not work, purple textures galore.

Thanks for doing this, I love the BNS mod however I noticed it took a big chunk of power to run on my PC so having the 2k textures really helped. I just wish the original had added this as an option.

Missing models. BNS or BNS Trees Only is required to be installed first. My mod contains only downscaled textures, nothing more.

What a gem of a mod! Do you know if there's a mod that reduces original bns trees density by any chance? Your mod is a must download for sure, but i just can't play in peace knowing that i still lose ~7 fps

It would be great to see a mod that reduces trees density in BNS. I've been looking but couldn't find any.

I've considered this. After a quick look a while back it's a simple case of adding Initially Disabled flags to a targeted proportion of the static refs across the worldspace, viewed in the Referenced By tab on xedit.

This would be a good idea, I guess BNS author would have no problem with someone releasing "Lite" version ESP for his mod.

Very nice! If you could do the color swapping of A Forest Retextured as well I'd give serious thought to working with this.
