Further Updates: I've done a new normal/specular map for the recolor with some added details for version 1.2
I still want to do a complete retexture (not a recolor) using the Stalker texture asset or something close. Reason I haven't yet is because I realized it would be far more hours than I wanted to spend on it at the moment and I have a lot of other projects on the burner. But it is still something I want to attempt at some point.
well the PMM was the result of soviets looting PPKs/KPKs off of Germans and out of German factories they were impressed by it and had their own variant made but only slightly scaled up to accept the 9x18 Makarov ammo the PMM is technically in the Walther PP family which technically goes" KPK, PPK, PM, PMM, PP, MP
I like the mod a lot however that is not the body of the makarov. Neither the original , the 90's version, or other country's remakes. You basically loaded a German walther pp, and yes there are major differences, i own them both.
i seriously DOUBT you own either cause if you did you would know that the Makarov is indeed a member of the Walther PP family it is the mid point between the PPK/KPK and the PP and MP
Great work. I am trying to make a Stand-alone Makarov pistol as a part of an add-on pack for Weaponsmith Extended 2.0 (based on the deliverer model). Would it be OK for me to use this texture for it. Credit would of course be given to you for making the texture.

Fix is up. I must not have been paying attention to the colors and left green in while I was doing the texture for the Sharpshooter texture. That, or it was compressed wrong.

HOW DO I GET ONE??
It's the wearable tank/straps and monitors. I've been considering doing a version without the tank.
It's all Vanilla armor, except the by itself hazmat tank (the straps/Geiger counters) from my Helmless Hazmat Suit mod which separates the parts.
