This is friggin genius! No drink-freezing script, just recipes and a workbench that looks like a fridge! That way, with a little xediting, I can even tinker together ice-cold versions of mod-added drinks or whiskey on the rocks! Thank you!

wouldn't running these on something a little more avalibel like energy cells be more viable? or maybe a version that runs off of settlement power grid as an opion.

Not to mention Modular Kitchen does this also gives access to cooking stove and storage space on top of providing sinks that produce water. I applaud the Modder but it is a bit unnecessary perhaps if it was a mobile item to be used as a camp device. With the fusion core requirement it would make sense being used outside of a settlement area.

Modular Kitchen is a bit more serious stuff, it has wider scope, custom assets, scripts, custom SMM menu and it's out of Nexus. Portable item suggestion (fridge relay grenade, LMAO) noted.

This a smaller load size, ESL (for those who don't know how to use edit yet), and it's super simple without extra trimmings. There's definitely a place for mods like this that are "strictly in their own lane" and very plug and play friendly for large mod lists.

Great idea. Question: would you consider making a version that requires power but no fusion core...?

I think I see what Szandor81 is getting at. Everything else (with maybe a couple of steel added for the actual icebox walls) is a fridge. Those flush with Cores can keep a core-adapted fridge chilling for a very long time but having it run off radiant power is... basically the pre-war model.

My hope is that beverages that have mods to also be made ice-cold will be chilled in these fridges.

Re: modded drinks: recipes are limited to Vanilla, Far Harbor, Nuka World. If some mods provide ice cold versions of drinks, i can make patches of course. What mods do you have in mind?  Added Wasteland Imports and Canned Cola patches as an example.
Re: powered fridge: didn't figure out how to make it to require power, because it's technically a workbench. That's why you have to build the fridge from scratch. I will research it later.

I always thought the Working Ice Cooler and the like was a container that (given time) would swap out the valid drinks for their Ice-Cold counterparts. If that was a workbench function, it seems to me that any drink transferred to settlement workbenches would get the treatment. Speaking of which, howcum no one has come up with a bag-of-ice item?
