But you have got something completely wrong. This is not my Discord Channel, but the one from Greslin Games, the author of the PanPC mod. The PanPC mod can only be downloaded there.
That's the reason i don't use any of Greslin mods. Forced to join their discord in order to make use of the mod, its a big NO. Bad news is, more authors doing the same lately. Anyways. Nexus is where all the mods should be, so, everyone can use with ease.
I'm also not a friend of Discord at all. And I still don't understand why it's so popular. Too colourful, too cheesy and a lot of information is lost. But sometimes you don't have a choice if you want to use a mod. And Greslin mods are very good, I don't want to do without them. But everyone has a choice. For me, a site like Nexus with a good forum and good community integration is always the first choice.
(Smiling) Absolutely. I signed in to Discord, did the email verification, jumped through the flaming hoops and... invite expired. lol Now I have to decide whether to spend the rest of game-time trying to figure out Discord or... just skip it and go to the gym. HA!
FYI Pack Attack discord is not accepting new invites. Pack Attack NPC is available at Buried Mods, and Greslin's official PANPC FAQ is here: https://greslinmods.wordpress.com/pack-attack-npc-edition-official-faq/#future
It doesn't seem to have been updated for a while as it doesn't reflect changes made in PANPC Stable Version 1.991, but still useful.
Strange, I still get the Discord invite screen and I can download the latest version there (PANPC_2.0.12.1-stable). But if it still works with this patch I can't say, because I can't deal with Fallout 4 at the moment. Maybe that will change soon.
U bet, and no worries. Yee I seem to be able to accept other invites just fine. Not that one tho. Iz otay. I wasn't using this mod. I just noticed it mentioned it wanted to check with ya. I hope life is treating you wonderfully tho, and I get it, dealing without Fallout 4 can be quite a vortex of time. lol Have an amazing day.
Amazing to have this, thank you - PANPC is indispensable and NAC, when properly set, looks absolutely fantastic.
I noticed what I think is a bug with NAC, where some weathers are basically nearly as bright as days during nights. I'm still testing but have found few fogs so far to have this issue.
This is not a matter of a global NAC setting - I have everything set up in NAC for it to expose nights correctly - only selected weathers seem to have the issue. Did anyone else noticed this? Try testing nac foggy and cloudyweathers around night time to recreate.
I can just confirm the link works fine... Also wanted to ask, while I assume this works with 2.0.8.1 I was just wondering if that patch was taking advantage of the global variables - PANPC_Light_Dark, PANPC_Light_High,PANPC_Light_Bright, PANPC_Light_FlashDiff, PANPC_Light_InteriorScale Cheers
Within these lists the individual NacX weather are defined. I made a selection there where I think it makes the most sense. However, this can be adapted with FO4Edit very easily to the own needs.
It should be compatible with 2.0.8.1. The global variables are independent of the weather values, but of course those could be changed if needed.
The global variables control the day/night visibility and the above form lists, the visibility depending on the weather. But how they influence each other I can not say exactly yet, I have not tested. But a test possibility would be to load a Nac.X weather, e.g. NAC_MistyOvercast (Visibility 75). Then output the lightlevel via "getlightlevel", change the time of day and output the lightlevel again.
Then you should be able to see how far weather and time of day influence each other. GreslinGames can also say something about this in Discord.
Cheers for the detailed response, as was probably obvious I don't know much about patching :-( I will be adding this to my new project which is meant as a searchable catalogue of links, mostly non-nexus, to fallout 4 mods, patches, guides and more. If interested, https://piningforthefjords.co.uk/, if you search greslin you can see the other stuff I have there from him.
Actually would you mind if I quote from this post or the description page for the entry. YOu have full editing right if you wished of course? Cheers
Cheers, I went ahead as I figure authors words always better than what I could make up https://piningforthefjords.co.uk/search-results?q=NAC.X Click Title for full 'article'. Catalogue's purpose is so people can find stuff so generally just short descriptions

- Click the invite.
- Request role; Citizen. Accepted.
- Check the messages at "Channel map" or something, scroll down.
- PANPC release latest > Download.
Also thanks for the mod, going to try it. Should be working on pre-NG FO4 right?

Thanks for the hint.

there are three FormID lists:
PANPC_WeatherVisibility25
PANPC_WeatherVisibility50
PANPC_WeatherVisibility75
Within these lists the individual NacX weather are defined. I made a selection there where I think it makes the most sense. However, this can be adapted with FO4Edit very easily to the own needs.
