Dude, thank you so much for this. I wish they'd make versions of these mods with none of the pasta, doge, s#*! jokes, or whatever memes. I don't know if it's an inside joke with them or a community thing I don't get, but I just don't find it funny.
Happy to help as I don't particularly find them interesting either, but I also don't feel like going so far as to outright *remove them* from the mod is the correct way to handle it in case somebody eventually wants to mess about with it.
To my knowledge it's a bunch of in-jokes amongst the various mod weapon developers on the FO4 Nexus.
I am honestly very glad you made this mod. the XM8 is my favorite assault rifle, but I feel like the mod in question cared more about showing off memes than the quality of the work itself.
I felt there were just too many memes, and too much emphasis on them. This should have been optional, and you just sort of made it optional. So thank you. Now I can enjoy the original mod proper :).
I understand not wanting to have the memes in my game, as I'm the same way with the FN FAL by Wana, the XM8, the Anti-Material and its "Penne Trator", etc. but the mod developers have given us the weapon as is, so it makes sense that they'd make it the way they want.
I didn't want all of it added to my game though, so I just cracked open xEdit and did it myself. Pretty easy with just making some stray Keywords that aren't utilized by anything and assigning the specific meme-items to them.
