Timed Connector

Adds a new simple timed connector to the workshop power section, that activates at 6:00 a.m., and deactivates at 8.00 p.m(20:00). You can also manually shut it down, and it will serve as a wireless based connector as well. It will also take bad weather into account.

Thanks a lot guys!

With about 5-6 Mods within this weeks 20 highest ranked Hot Mods, I have to point out a huge gratitude to all users. Of course this creates a motivational impulse, to continue creating more content.

Prerequisites and install?

Base game needed only. Install at will.

Why and how to use it?

Because there's sunlight during daytime, and I don't want to spend countless hours switching buttons? You need to attach a cable between your generators and the timed connector, and then move any cable from the timed connector, to objects that you do not want to be powered during daytime. Version 1.3 has imported a check for bad weather, that will override the standard timed behavior. You must enable it inside the menu.

There are timed connectors on the Nexus already!

Sure. One is bugged up the ar$%, the other is inside a huge pack of things I don't want/need. Also "simple" means you will only have a old school, message box based configuration menu to customize all settings(see screenshots). I really didn't fell like building a MCM for this, which wouldn't have been working for a individual object reference anyways.

It doesn't snap very well!

Yeah, that's because it has auto place snap enabled only. So that's pretty much true for any vanilla workshop object with the same auto place snappy enabled. In return that means in vanilla only flat walls, and other flat stuff will allow attaching the connector. If you want to do it like only a professionell can(as seen in the screenshots), then use Place Everywhere.

Why some of your script/model files etc. are labeled AOF_?

Because I'm working on a much bigger project named "Art of Fabrication".

What does it do?

It will revolutionize the way you think about crafting in Fallout 4, by introducing over 130+ new real life components, apply them to any crafting recipe, and make sure you will bite your fingernails trying to find enough resources to not only keep your settlements running, but to experience the real meaning of "survival" in a atomic annihilated world.

It will also introduce new workstation, like casting furnaces, wood cutting stations, floater stations, and other new stuff you've never seen before in the game. Those new workstations will also be needed to craft and build. So scrapping in workshop mode will only be possible with particular workstations already build, and will allow you scrapping only particular objects with the prerequisite station in place.

When I change the global variable "GameHour" with the console or mod configuration, your mod is bugged!

This is pointed out here because I've seen users doing that, and then have mod creators blamed for bugging up their game. Figure the solution.

Where's the "Simple" gone?

I guess this timed connector does not really qualify for being "simple" anymore.

I want to report a bug!
