if you think it is "horrible' then why dont you put your money where your fingers are??? i dont think its all that bad it isnt perfect but neither are 99% of the camoflage patterns here but it certainly is better than anything i can do
Yes. Stealth: the fireman's greatest ally. It is VERY important that you are properly camouflaged when fighting fires. If the fire detects you, it might run away before you can throw a bucket of water on it, or even worse, it might charge right at you and try to burn you to death! Additionally, don't ever wear bright, fire retardant clothing, because you don't want the other firemen to think you're a wuss for being protected from burns and easy to find in an emergency.
Looks pretty bad, and I don't mean the camo itself :/
First, you should understand that camo garment is made from individual pieces of cloth - the camo itself isn't spraypainted over the finished garment. This means that there will be camo discontinuities on each individual pieces of cloth, like pockets, pocket flaps, and wherever there's a seam.
Just slapping camo overlay over the texture without any regard is just about the laziest possible way to do it. The only thing worse is not paying attention to the seams in the camo itself.
Which brings me to my second point - you didn't pay attention to the seams in the camo. Just look at the back of your characters - there's a camo seam right there! You know you can move your camo source around to avoid such seams, right? Once piece over the right chest, one over the left chest, smaller pieces for the pockets, then another for the back, and for the back.
It's really not a rocket science, or brain surgery for that matter. Just google some images of military jackets and you'll see how it should look like. Sure, cutting individual pieces is a bit of hassle, but the end result will be so much better
It's okay, as long as you are willing to learn. Probably all texture artist were at this stage one time or another. Just study the real-world clothes, other retextures, and you can improve too.

And I can see how some hunting camo makes sense as to not interfere with and disturb wildlife so much.
