The Raiders' four basic army helmets... Doubtful. Well, OK. But no “raider sci-fi” based on metal helmet, flight helmet, miner helmets, baseball and soccer helmets, steel bucket... At first wanted to put in a new game, but ... I thought about it and found these flaws.
Any chance to update this mod so the helmet preview model look like the helmet once equipped? I´m using Helmet Popper https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/89045?tab=description and when shoting a raider with these helmets, the dropped helmet looks like a box (as well as the previews in the pipboy). Not a big deal, I will still use this mod becouse it´s cool AF, thank you for the awesome work.
Ah that's a nice looking mod, bet it looks goofy as hell turning into a box.
Since last Bethesda update I don't play Fallout 4, it pissed me off too much. Unfortunately this is just how the original author has ground objects set up and I never learned how to make them. I did fix numerous issues and got another author to fix parts not disappearing on decap like vanilla.
You could ask someone to make ground objects for the mod, its probably quite simple if you just use the existing meshes rather than low poly versions. Everyone has permission to upload an update.
There could but since I use these in raider levelled lists, adding a few versions of each helmet would make them a bit too numerous. I'm doing material swaps for a few weapon mods like the Type89 Redux but this mod was more about fixing stuff. The original mod author didn't know how to make spec maps so I was helping him out with that sort of thing.
Not played 76 so don't know which one that is. They have other races flagged as ghoul and synth as usual, not entirely sure how that would work as you just have entries for Male and Female. Put one on a Supermutant and it may just clip horribly with how fat their heads are, or not be equipped at all. You would probably have to make them just for that race and make all the meshes bigger.
Oh now that one would probably work, use XEdit and find the armor addon, near the bottom you will see extra races so just add Supermutants. I have no idea how it will work in the game though, and no I'm not doing it for you.
You kiddin me? Thats what sold me on it! Gotta be creative! If you ever do crawl out from the fallout you will have to use any and all available resources recruit! Ty Jason and NexusBram!
