I cant seem to find 'UI & UX' thingy youre talking about. I tryed just adding empty mod inside the left list of mods, copied the strings, ignored missing data and checked it out. It doesnt work. (im clueless as to how to mod just 'learning')
Finally! It works! But why?I can open old string file with xtranslator and there is no LOOKUP FAILED. But in the game it is ( Can't see any difference between old and new string file, but it works!THANK YOU!
I’m glad that worked for you and made your game playable. However, and I’m not trying to throw any shade here at all, but it’s kind of a “no no” to install your games in the “Program Directories” of your pc (ie., where you showed you installed yours on). I’ve read and seen that all over the place. Now, that being said, I don’t know what kind of errors it can make for any game (I’ve heard it for a lot of games, not just Bethesda titles) because I’ve always just put my games in a hard drive I specified for my games. If that’s not an option (like it was for me at first), I would recommend creating a folder outside of the program directories folder that you can move your game to.
All that being said…I’m glad your game is working for you and hope you continue to get no errors in playing as they suck. Just figured I’d give my 2 cents that nobody asked for, lol
I usually don't have a issue with them in program files. For example I had a issue with Diablo 3 cuz it was in the "Program Files (x86)" folder and I saw a suggestion online to just move it into the "Program Files" folder instead to fix that issue.
The warning about program file folder usage is because of the security of that folder. You get admin messages when you try to use the programs to write to that space. You can run as admin, but that's not normal. To avoid all that, they recommend putting it anywhere else. I create a fallout folder on a drive with lots of space. It needs lots of space with large mods, HD textures, and sound files like Boston OWR. The trick is making Steam install elsewhere. After you do that, it's easy to get MO2 and Nexus to point there. You have to make Steam point at other drives; in my case, I have games installed on C:, D:, and E: drives. All in all, it's more painful for admin privileges than it is for just installing it somewhere else.
