Appreciate the info. Still new to all this and to get some help from an absolute legend is awesome. I'll try to upload a repacked version when I get some free time.
Yes, to put it simple enough, First pack the Mesh files using compressed method into a ba2. Second Open the same ba2 file and pack the sound using uncompressed method. The uncompressed sound files within the ba2 file will still work in the game. Sad that not many has figured this out.
I don't necessarily do it that way. I was merely just trying to simplify it.
Where is the gun any how? I looked in the chem. lab, on vendors, in my inventory, I can't seem to locate it. I downloaded the Main file from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44634 Replaced with your fix, and then dropped the whole thing in my data and activated. I am still unable to locate the gun anywhere in the game.
Edit: I managed to get this to work. Here is how: Detailed instructions Downloaded The Updated ""Level List Injections"" from the updated files section https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44634?tab=files Downloaded your fix (because it is cleaner then the original). I then dropped your 2 files (556mm - Main.ba2, 556mm - Textures.ba2) inside the Level List Injections file, Keeping the 556mm.esp (.67kb) and the Script folder. Dropping it all inside my data folder and activating the .esp Waited 3 days in game time for KL-E-0's shop to restock.
You should make a note that this fix requires the ""Level List Injections"" from the updated files section and not the ""main"" file. (Hard Requirement)
There was a note in the file requirements that you can use the standard download or level list download. Also shows this in the instructions on the mod page. I added a note to the downloads as well that you can use either version.

Btw, you don't need to run those files as loose ones, if you repack them correctly (uncompressed) everything will still work.
