It's extremely simple. Took me all of 3 minutes tops to do them all (19 of them) I use MO2 - have no earthy idea how things work in Vortex. Note: It took me longer to write all this than it did to make the dummy ESP's. :D Note: Do yourself a favor and write down the .ESP's you need to make so you can do them all at one time. :D ----- a) Load up xEdit. You don't have to load up your entire load order, just 1 mod is fine b) Right Click on the white space in the left pane - select Create New File c) Select the box .ESP with .ESL tag (3rd one from the top) d) Name it exactly the same as one of the required .ESP's. Ex. RussianAssaultPack (do not put .ESP - xEdit will do that). Done - Rinse and Repeat for all the mods. Close xEdit ---- In MO2 I just make an empty mod and call it DummyESP. Once I've created them I cut/paste them from Overwrite folder to DummyESP folder. Activate them - done. Open up xEdit again, select this mod (it will automatically select all those dummy plugins you made) Then it's just a matter of removing the ones (the light attachments) you want to remove. Last step: Right Click on this mod in xEdit and select Clean Masters - it will remove any Masters that are no longer needed.
So, I had the issue with not being able to edit out the masters that I need to in FO4Edit, so I made some dummy .esp's for it to actually load, just copied US Marine BDU's esp then renamed it to the appropriate masters, if'n you need the same thing,
That link leads to my dummy esp collection, click and drag from where your downloads go to the area marked "drop files" in Vortex's "Mods" section. Load it, then open-up FO4Edit and now you can follow Slasher's instructions unimpeded from there. :)
Should be titled something along the lines of HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, give or take a few HHHH's.
EDIT: OK, so, I've gotten a couple of people actually going to the link and asking permission to download, to which I've readily accepted and authorized. I have shared it as public, but it continues to require permission to download, I'm usually in touch with my Email at all times, so don't be afraid to request permission, I'll eventually see it and authorize it. I have no idea why it still needs it after setting it to public though. :/ EDIT2 (December 28, 2022): I am still authorizing requests, please don't be afraid to request access, I have no issue clicking two buttons to authorize you. : ) EDIT3: (July 26, 2023): Same state as EDIT2, I'm more than happy to click two buttons to get you the ESP files. :) EDIT4: (October 31, 2024): Again, this is still an open invitation. Still accepting requests!
Dead mod with requirements that can't be found and author didn't make a fomod that was said to eventually be included 2 years ago. Pretty typical for nexus.
Mods really need to start purging dead and abandoned mods and inactive authors. What a waste of time and storage space.
Great mod! I am having one issue when using a suppressor. The flashlight casts a large shadow as seen in the attached image. I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this? Maybe a way to move the source of the light forward?
Is there anyway to add the Zenit RD-704 and RU556? I know this is something unusual to ask but love those guns and like this flashlight effect, looks amazing.
What's that?? @ShadedKnight321 The AK 400? You mean this gun? Right here?
This little one? The not quite so hidden one? The not entirely removed one that you have to access by searching the mod title in a search engine followed by "files" in quotes to find at will for almost any hidden mod at any time? https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36873?tab=files&file_id=224893
The one whose name you can also search with things like "2K" added to your search to take you to the 2K version of said hidden mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/36873?tab=files&file_id=150985
O pleeeeeeeease with the modular version omg it's been a whole year now and I'm stuck as hell and need your beautiful esp modularized omg. I'm not using that weapon load order at all and it would take me days to download those Gigabytes of weapons I'll never use. Im begging you! lol Fr tho! (Nvm! Thank u, GrungleFunkBunk! Amazing idea. I made dummies)
Anyways, hope you're okay, Sparty, thanks for your awesome work for when I did use this
Its not disabled, it changes the pip boy flashlight into this type of beam and the light goes off at a 90 degree angle to the left of the player, check in third person on the walls to the left.
