Probably just as well this is after you've done the quest The Silver Shroud since the detect life option almost certainly would cause the Instant Aggression bug that Targeting HUD inflicts in certain places... like Milton General Hospital.
I have no idea why, but there's a baked-in engine bug that makes this happen and it's especially unfortunate for poor Kent as Sinjin would blow his head off the instant you entered the building with that sort of effect working.
This is why Fallout Who's Sonic Shades needed a patch.
That is very intresting to keep in mind. Actually where you mention it, I remember reading about it somewhere. Fortunately the upgrade can get applied at any time in the game so after completing the quest you can apply it back (if you want to save Kent).
Just saying that white Mechanist would be perfect if you want The Mechanist to be the director of the Institute. Obviously nothing short of red accents and the logo on the torso improving it.
Brilliant mod, but also fun to think of the Mechanist doing whatever they can to have the best technology!
Looking forward to getting this after the update you mentioned drops/enough time passes for possible bug reports to show. The ability to apply these modifications to modded outfits is amazing, IMO.
I definitly thought of doing a custom version of that one too ;) But at the moment I am working on a larger Version of CWS which will add much more content - quests, reputation system, worldspaces and even more!
What a fun concept for a mod! I have a couple ideas for some other superpowers you could consider adding:
Foresight - Increased persuasion, decreased damage from explosions. Percent chance to dodge (negate) incoming melee/bullet damage.
Deathless - Every so many game hours, you can cheat death, respawning somewhere nearby instead of dying. Handy for Survival playthroughs! (DM me for more info on making this one work if you want to do it)
I definitly plan to expand the mod by more superpowers, so I am really happy for your advice! I gonna consider them for the next update, coming together with the second mod.

Like colour or ability.
Or the modded but from canon Mistress of Mystery?
