I second this. I've been trying to figure out what I need to add to the nif file but I can't figure out which node(s) it needs. The obvious one doesn't seem to be the only thing I need, but nothing else seems obvious to me.
this fixed the light direction worked thank you but now i have a different problem now the pipboy is emitting a glow/light even with light turned off ( i dont mean the screen glow ive patched that). im trying to fix that on my own but idk if i can find the problem in nifskope. the glow appear only when i install this patch so its somewhere in your mod/mesh
Yeah there's a light in nifskope you can delete that is emitting this blue light. I fixed it a while back for myself but forgot what light source it was. pretty easy fix tho
Really? After 3 days no one cares to say something? I just need some tips for a simple issue...Could even help others too, eventually. CĀ“mon guys, how do I remove that green glow? Please, anyone???
I can't figure this out as well. I tried to mess around with the nodes in Nifskope and nothing worked. I reported this as a potential bug on the main mod page, so hopefully a solution can come out of this.
Mod's been working great for fixing the directional issue, thank you! However, one thing is confusing me: do any of you guys have the headlight emitter instead of the Pip-Boy emitter showing when in third person? I made sure to tab off for the latter but it keeps on showing the headlight. Any guesses on what's going on?
That's quite an odd bug. If you're good with FO4Edit, you might want to check Pip-boy flashlight.esp and see if you have any mods that override any of the files. You also might want to try the Pip-Boy Flashlight Beta to see if that fixes your issue since it no config options and its default is the Pip Boy emitter.
I have this also. I didn't read the patch description clearly I guess. It says "Slightly tweaked emitter location. Should act more like a mining helmet now." Nice patch and I love pip boy style but I can't play without flashlight mod so I'm gonna find different pip boy skin. Thanks

this mod is in fact the problem of emitter bug, not the original.
Interestingly, version 1.0 of this patch does not contain this bug.
I really recommend using that version, so far no problem.
