Unfortunately, I'm getting the Brown face bug, only on male actors, I've turned off everything to do with male character's and still the bug, I turn this mod off no more brown face bug.
Same. Took me five hours to narrow it down to this mod. That's enough mass-mod adding without testing for me.

Most interesting. Are you guys sure you were using my mod and not traces of the other one? This is definitely 2k, it works for me and many others. Too bad, but i‘m glad disabling it fixes the brown face then :D
maybe a mod left some remains but I'm using mo2 and i made sure to go through each mod and it was any freckle or mole 2k texture. so, it not just yours, I use Valkyr faces. it makes me sad that it doesn't work.
P.s I found a post on natural 2k faces the person said to change the chargen settings in the fallout custom ini to 2048 so let's try that.
UPDATE: even with those settings still a brown face bug with this mod. However with this mod, it works and no brown face bug. I'll be changing the settings back to normal because with that setting change I'm getting huge stutters. ill update again when I've done that.
UPDATE 2: after turning the settings back to normal no more huge stutters and no brown face bug. i believe that valkrs mod is just incompatible with any freckle or mole mod. i hope this helps someone else. ad victorium.
Is THAT why I've had so many problems with brown faces if I fast travel? For the longest time I used the 'Rusty Face Fix,' but then it stopped working....I think this may be the issue. Will download once Nexus actually lets me do so.
did you have the other Kirs Freckles 2k upscale mod installed before? because that did in fact cause the brown face due to a compression error. but you'd see those brown faces a lot more often than just while fast traveling and also on your character since a lot of NPCs use those freckle textures.
Currently, I have this one installed. Before, I think what I had was part of 'Looks Compendium' Something, Something. Either/or… with both versions, I've had the brown face on fast travel bug, especially with custom companions such as Kit from The Machine and Her. It's, admittedly, not that big a deal, since I don't fast travel much, and restarting fixes it, but it has been one of those niggling things that I haven't been able to figure out. So... once it's actually up on the nexus CDN servers, I'll download this and test for a bit. Cheers!
you just need to make sure that all your face texture mods (tints, make up, brows, skin, teeth) are of the same resolution. since you're using the 1k version, you need matching 1k versions of everything else. so if you have 2k face textures installed and only kir's freckles as 1k, then my mod will help. otherwise, i don't think so :/
