Personally i just wanted a motorcycle helmet in the game, the BOCW pack was the only mod that had one so i seperated it and personalized it a bit. Honestly after all the time i had to spend getting this to work the way i wanted it to i don't think i have it in me to learn how to make an addon. (someone else might be able to do so though)
you're probably right about giving up the pack part, although some people might still get some use out of it. Which is why i uploaded it.
