   My characters lips are still visible moving even through the solid visor when i speak to NPC's.

      No dice, I tried using the same method I did for this and it made it a little less transparent but could still see through pretty clearly. I assume you'd have to change some textures to get it entirely opaque and I don't want to try to get into all that
