Hi, thank you for all your mods. This is the only mod you made that I can't manage to make it work... I installed everything required properly but yet doesn't work. Could it be because I have the next gen version?
For those who want to keep the HUD-colored icons but are experiencing the wrong colors when stealing or in Power Armor, removing every other file and leaving only FallUI_IconLib.swf does the trick. (I guess it's because even if you don't enable any of the settings, icons are still processed and just painted white.) Of course, you won't be able to change icon settings with MCM but if someone wants HUD colors in the first place that hardly won't matter for them anyway. After that turn off the "allow colored icon" option for all your UI mods(such as FallUI-HUD and FallUI-Inventory)
If you don't want the shading effect too, you'll have to edit the swf file itself. Change every DefineShapes' fillStyle to "Solid" from "Radial Gradient" with the JPEXS flash decompiler
If you use either FallUI - HUD or FallUI - Inventory, you can resolve this by simply turning on and off the colored icon option but when you use both, you can't because if you get it right for one of them, it wouldn't work for the other. (Maybe they treat icons differently since you can separate icon color in FallUI-HUD)
Hi, i installed the mod, but when i open the configuration menu it say def_conf.xml not found and the icons didn't appear. i tried re-installing the mod but still not working. im using mod organizer.
how do i change the icon of something that isnt a weapon/ armor (holotape, aid items etc)?
Nevermind found it
(im not sure if this works without it but i use rename anything https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22105 with that just inspect the item than it should allow ypu to rename)
Very useful mod! I can't play without it, a total game revolution for my eyes, but i have some problem with the white texts, i change the display of the pipboy and the inteface in the dafault green, but the texts remain white...there is a .ini tweak or some mod for change it?
i Use FallUI icons, Map and FIS item sorter and Fallout LONDON icon replacer.
Excellent, fantastic mod. Thank you! One issue I'm having, though, is that when I choose the 'Classic' set of icons, the icon of the rollover text (when you focus on something, like junk, etc.), doesn't go red like the rollover text does when in steal mode. The other icon sets do, however, go red to match the red text when you're stealing, so I wondered if this was an issue with the Classic set not including the warning/red option?
I've tried fiddling with the settings of all the other FallUI mods, but no luck yet. I'd love a fix for this, because this is such a terrific mod collection!
