A lethal headshot should kill the target immediately. They shouldn't scream in pain while their head has already turned into a gory paste.
This mod corrects that issue for both male and female raiders by silencing all of their death voice lines. Though you can choose which ones you wanna silence.
It makes combat feel more realistic and less cartoony so I highly recommend giving it a try.
