V1.1 is being uploaded right now. Please report any further bugs that you find. Users who encounter issues while using the "Depravity - A Harmless Bit of Fun" mod, please refer to section 3. Compatibility in the mod description.
Feedback on the mod and especially bug reports or suggestions are very welcome. I'll try to take everything into consideration for fixes, improvements and my next projects.
I filled every container in the hideout with an object on V1.0. Then I created two saves - one in the hideout and one outside. Then I upgraded to V1.1, loaded my saves and checked all containers. The result: all objects were still in the containers, so I assume that it's save to upgrade, based on my testing, since I didn't touch any containers. Only the position and size of one container was slightly adjusted for the update.
I know this is an older mod, but I wanted to say that I still love it after all these years! It really hits home the Fallout 1 and 2 feel and nostalgia. Thanks for a great mod!
the game CTDs when talking to the robot Infront of the hideout. the mod was conflicting with unique NPC's and creatures' sound files, but even after disabling them it still crashes, any help would be appreciated
Did you try to craft at the power armor station? I didn't really change any of the crafting stations. They're all vanilla. Could you specify what the problem was/is?
I love this home, it's cozy, practical and fits the lore perfectly. Very well done. However, there is one thing I don't like. The rope which is used to get to the top of the building. Climbing every time would probably be quite arduous, especially while carrying equipment. Not to mention power armor. How about an external elevator like the ones you find on other buildings? Or a cable car?
So far loving the mod, but is there a way to make it link a supply line to it or would this just be for roleplaying purposes? Having all the workbenches there and using it as a base would've been cool, but I must carry all my loot/scrap from my other settlements in my inventory and use it there. Which of course means my other settlements get no access to it and so on, rendering the use of the base counter productive.
There currently is no way to link the hideout to your supply line network. This might change when I update the mod in the future, depending on if it's possible to add this to already existing save files.
Hi, i love the mod! is there a way for the player home to not render the worldspace outside it (concord)? i know its prob meant for when you dont have the castle mode enabled, however it leads to alot of frame drop for me
There is unfortunately no way to turn that off. However, the visible parts of Concord were done in a "mostly" performance-friendly way, which means that it's basically just the LOD(extremely low quality geometry and textures) mixed with a few normal meshes to give you the illusion of detail. I'm planning to eventually do a version 2 of this mod with slightly better performance for the outside world but until then there is nothing I can do :(. I'm sorry.
This house is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant, I had to come back and say so not just give an endorsement. You have nailed the feeling of having a makeshift apocalyptic hideout that is rough around the edges but wholly believable that someone would and could put this together after the world has ended.
props to you the design is just perfect. I only wish it had a sorter function but other than that its practically perfect.
