About this mod
Civilians carry around pipe weapons. I don't like that. So i gave them 10mm pistols, 44 revolvers, shotguns, submachine guns, lever guns and handmade guns (AK's from Nuka World). That's it.

Why do civilians carry around pipe weapons? Yes, they are poor. Yes, it fits the aesthetics. But i personally think it's weird. The player finds literally thousands of firearms. Even the most pathetic civilian (Travis) should have a chance of getting a real gun. Demand is always there, so there are people who want to get their income from selling scavanged weapons. On the other hand, supply is also always there, so prices should be acceptable. If you, as a seller, sell your weapons for too much money, nobody will buy it. Pipe weapons are still an alternative, so the buyers dominate the market, not the sellers. That means that everybody could buy a gun. My deformed bowling ball shaped head says that makes sense. I'm using a mod that makes holstered weapons visible on the back, on the hip or on the thigh. It's really odd seeing Vault dwellers carry around scrap weapons. Yes, this mod will affect balancing. In my playset, damage is drastically increased, because i like realism. It is only fair if farmers and citizen can defend themselves against raiders by having compeatable weapons.
This mod changes the following entry: "LLI_Weapons_Citizen (00023329)"
Within that entry, the mod removes the reference "LL_HandmadeGun (00032B01)" ...
... and replaces it with the following references:
- LL_10mm_Pistol_Simple (00160479)
- LL_44_Pistol_VeryShort (0017412D)
- LL_DoubleBarrelShotgun (00188A71)
- LL_SubmachineGun (00188A7B)
- DLC03_LL_LeverGun_Sniper (0304A655)
- DLC04_LL_HandmadeGun_Rifle_Auto(06037893)
That means, Far Harbor and Nuka World are a requirement.
There are 2 versions. The "No Shovel Stock" version also changes templates for the handmade guns (06033B60) from Nuka World. Nothing too extreme. I just wanted to get rid of the shovel stocks. I replaced them with light stocks or marksman stocks. That means, no NPC will spawn with these goovy shovel stocks. If you like them or are afraid of conflicts, choose the normal version.
