No. During the last couple of months, I discovered new modding techniques and overhauled my load order. That left me without time for creating new mods ready to upload. Regarding this mod here, I think I need to assign parts of the NIF to different parts of the skeleton since the current piece is made for supermutants. I think not doing that results in distortions when simply equipping the current thing to a human. These distortions look bad, and I don't think I want to upload the next version in that state. When I've got time or inspiration, I will dig deeper, but I have so many tasks in real life (I finally want to write my first novel, which I've been researching for 5 years) and I even have tasks with higher priorities for my own load order. I can't promise anything.

Why do you show humans wearing this when you have them all set for nonhuman?

Did you read the caption of that picture? It says "I'm working on V3 (including humans)". At the time, they don't fit humans, so i will work on that. That picture is just a teaser.

It would be even more neat if their was an additional option that gave all Supermutants Bear hats with the base coloring.

All of them? I personally think it makes the bear hats more impactful if they are rather uncommon. Currently my exams are going on and i have no time for modding. But if you would like that i will try to do that.

I honestly don't know how to do that. However, after thinking about, I had a better idea you might like for Supermutants and the bear hats in general for them. I believe Supermutants would look great if they were given a tribal look. Like say, if you've played FNV Honest Hearts DLC, something like their tribal factions garb would look pretty cool on Supermutants and the bear hat would work with it (while the bear hat not having to be on every mutant, either.). Personally, I originally just got tired of their faces, as it was like I was always getting charged by incredible hulk clones over and over again, lol.

Yeah, i can understand that. I got tired of them too. It would be really easy to give them a new skin texture that includes tribal paintings or tattoos. Next step would be to create new meshes that will replace the supermutant armor pieces. The mod would be basically a folder with meshes, textures and materials in them, so you don't even need an ESP plugin. That would mean that balancing would be untouched but the armor pieces will simply look different. I have no idea how to make NIF objects or how to create textures for them from scratch. But giving supermutants a whole new appearance would be a cool project that's worth learning that. I really don't like them. I love the 50's aesthetics of Fallout, but i don't like the look of supermutants and their crude makeshift armor pieces. They should be menacing slavers and truly superior to humans, but their appearance and voicelines make a joke out of them.

Well, I actually found an armor mod for Strong sometime back that I believe has a sort of retro-alien type aesthetic (while appearing based on classic Enclave PA, it's reshaped fitting for Strong made it almost look kind of "alien-esque" looking, imo). That armor being "Tumbajamba's Power Armor for Strong". If a sort of replacer type mod was made to give all Supermutants this armor, it would awesome. As for their voice, I'd probably use "Halo Brute Voices for Super Mutants", as to give them a more alien-like vibe, to fit with the PA.

I checked both mods and saved them for later. Thanks. Tumbajambas PA outfit looks cool. Shouldn't be too hard to make a replacer mod out of the assets. Maybe i will be able to give them different colors so that there will be still a variety (changing colors is much easier than creating a texture from scratch). My bear hats could maybe added on top of the helmets, if there's clipping i have to replace the helmets. As i said, currently i have no time for modding because of my exams (i have to learn spanish for no reason because 2 secondary languages are required), but i already have an idea what i have to do in order to make that mod working.

Alright, understandable, and good luck on exams (P.S I can't stand tests of any sort myself, lol). Now, as for the armor, I do think an option just for the entire Strong PA armor for Supermutants would be nice, though. Don't get me wrong, I like the bear helmet idea, but I think these Supermutants would look pretty high tech with power armor for anything else than it's intended armor's helmet, imo. Perhaps if there was two options when you get around to it, like a replacer using Strong PA/bear helmet for Supermutants as you suggest and the other option with just only Strong's full PA gear for Supermutants, would that be okay?

I just made a simple mod that replaces Strong's default outfit with Tumbajamba's Power Armor for Supermutants. When i'm bored again, i will update that mod and include this Power Armor to leveled lists so that other Supermutants will spawn with this armor too. I like the idea of Strong being unique. So i will look for some paintjob mods before i update that mod.

Nice, I like what you did with that mod. I especially like the dark version of the armor, with it's almost Enclave look. Actually, could you please make one more version of it that makes all mutants have only and wear the dark version of this power armor (with no other armor, especially not with the original Supermutant armors in the LL. Yikes, lol)? Also, I believe if the pants that the Supermutants wear were made to resemble the dark power armor's color scheme, that would be pretty neat, too.

I think the game supports Coast Guard hats and they are just disabled, maybe looking at that you could add more hats like the postman for example.

Maybe you could make Eriksson have an albino one so he is still unique?
Cito could have a quantum one?
Children of Atom levelled list could have a glowing one?

I'm full of ideas for the existing super mutant armour if you do want to do more and it isn't too complicated.

That sounds interesting. An albino one for Erikson is a great idea. Maybe i will also add a more dark one for Strong so that the "normal" hat can be the one that will spawn via leveled lists. I´ll look into that. Thank you for the ideas.

Love it, the dark and the albino address my only concern which was having Strong and Erikson have exactly the same as all the ones in the levelled list.

Any chance of making the Aviator Cap compatible with Humans/Ghouls/Synths?

Never thought of that. Makes sense to be able to wear them as a human/ghoul/synth too. I´ll see what i can do. To be honest, the last days (or weeks ... or months) i spent to much time on the computer. Next week my high school exams are starting. I can not promise anything, but i´m interested in doing that. Do you think it makes sense to add the aviator caps to leveled lists of raiders and low level gunners?

I was thinking vertibird pilots but yeah sure.
Would also compliment the Vim! flight jacket mod (mimics billboard).

Don't let me distract you from your exams, I'll be here after :P
