Just have a question. Why is this still being updated if this is the "new and improved version"? Are they 2 separate mods?

You can think Atom's Storm as a joint version of SOTS. This mod is built upon original SOTS, whereas Atom's Storm is branched from SOTS and this mod as brand new mod.
They take a part of this mod, but not all. So I'd like to keep my own version.
Other than that, if there is any bug report, I'm uploading fixed versions.

I strongly doubt it, considering that the author of the original SOTS wrote about advantages of SOTS AS.
Therefore, the choice of old "original" to update previs's is not clear to me... Maybe I don't understand something ;D

FO4Edit is your friend! You can obtain differential of Atom's Storm with following steps.
      1) Open FO4Edit, select only 'SOTS.esp' and click 'OK' button on 'Module Selection' window.
      2) When load finished, right click 'SOTS.esp' and select 'Create delta patch using...' sub-menu.
      3) Select and open 'SouthOfTheSea.esm' from file selection dialog, then just click 'OK' on filename dialog.
      4) It would take a while. When finished, file modification warning popup will appear. Then click 'Yes. I'm absolutely sure' button. Don't worry, original files won't be touched.
      5) It's done! Close the app and save changes of 'SouthOfTheSea.esu'.
      6) Now re-open FO4Edit with 'SouthOfTheSea.esu' and browse it. Only differentials to original SOTS are contained in the ESU.

    Hi bro. How are you.
Firstly, thanks for the mod. Really.
I´m having precomb. issues (virgil cave for example). I had the same issue with a cave of Atlas Summit. Idk why.
I have PRP and PRF and both are before your mod.

    Thanks again

I guess plugins below 'SOTS_Optimization.esp' touch Virgil's Cave or Atlas Summit, that result in broken PreVis issue.
Please try moving 'SOTS_Optimization.esp' to as lower in load order as possible.

Does Beantown Interior mod has compatibility issue with SS2? Btw, what is different between old SOTS, and the new one?. If, i wanted to use SOTS latest version should i use one of your mod here?. Man, i really confused, lmao.

Compatibility issues between BTI and SS2 are mainly aesthetic ones. In particular, SS2's repopulated buildings at Concord are partially over wrapped with BTI's, that result in doors float mid in air.
For the fix-up, please use 3DNPC BTI patch. This patch is independent to SOTS, so you'll need it with either version.

Those mods that have 'SOTS.esp' as master will work fine.
If you meant Atom's Storm, these two mods are exclusive.

    Hi,

Thank´s for the update, but there is a problem. Loot says that the ESL of SOTS_Optimization.esp is faulty. You can't get into the character menu anymore.

      Hi.
I search through LOOT source, but can't find the message you mentioned.
Could you share the exact message shown and/or the steps you've got the message?

      SOTS_Optimization.esp.
      - This plugin contains records that have FormIDs outside the valid range for an ESL plugin. Using this plugin will cause irreversible damage to your game saves.

This is the error that LOOT throws out.

I don´t know who marked it as LIGHT plugin. It was either the author or vortex (im not using mo2). So, if you mark it as regular, the error goes away. Since it is indeed an .esp, which was erroneously flagged as light.

You're right. I think I forgot renumbering FormID after editing a NAVM.
Please use v1.8 for the fix.

Hey thanks for the desperados edition. Not many mod authors include patches for it so I appreciate it.

I'm using Rebuild AIO and its desperados patch and I wonder in my load order what should go first. Rebuild AIO desperados patch or sots_optimization.esp?

      Hi.
Please load 'SOTS_Optimization.esp' lastly. The plugin is Rebuild AIO aware and well self contained.

Got multiple errors in xEdit, mostly related to cells. I´m on 1.163 game version, have PRP and selected PRP on fomod for this mod (witch overwrites PRP mod on load order)

Okay, v1.7.1 files contain the fix. Verified no error reported in FO4Edit 4.1.5f.

Would this help the second one, Atom's Storm, or only the first one?

Basically, SOTS is location enhancing mod. You walk around Glowing Sea and will find detailed environment and new dungeons to explore, some with map markers.
If you want to do treasure hunting quests, find dead body just outside of Virgil's Cave, a vanilla quest location. Take the note in the dead body and navigator quest will start.
