Hello, my friend. I installed your mod, and I was a bit confused about how to place it in the right location, but I managed to do it. I know it's outdated (I read the comments), but at first, it worked. However, all the items are not separated and end up in the same basket. And when I installed it, nearing 1000 items, a question appeared when I clicked. If I answer "yes," the IMAGE appears, and the installation freezes. If I answer "no," the installation continues.
yes this is because you will need to put some items in sorters so that they can be directed to the right places. which can be SUPER SUPER tedious i have explained that in the Description of my download. and for the error you got from the screenshot i've not had that issue before so i really have no idea what it means.
"i haven't played fallout in over 7 months".. Havent even tried to load up my factory because of all the issues with the game, i havent Downgraded my game,. i've Not done any of that. I've just been very busy with personal stuff
Ahh, I understand. I'm a noob at building in this game and thought it was some mod or other issue, but thank you. Don't worry too much, your mod is working perfectly, at least for me haha. Except for the separator issue, everything went very well.
im really glad to hear it is working atleast., yes settlement transfer doesnt save anything you put in storage whether that is in a sorter or a box. but i wanted to say look at the photos i've uploaded along with my factory you can sort of get an idea which sorter needs what types of loot..

After watching the video i noticed some things dont work even after having all the requirements. Not hating or anything just curious simply. The first one is right when u power the factory on that metal sheet door that lowers down does not go up or down and cant click to raise and other i noticed is where the bodies fall too, there is no door there like in the video where when u turn the pylon switch it drops the bodies, i dismantled around that spot and its not even in the build it seems. Overall it works fine minus what i saw but i did have to use a mod to reduce the size of meat as it was clogging up the belts lol.
I already have a settlement built in startlight and yours almost fits with it but sadly cant use both, curious if any mods that would move a entire section thats connected or something or if u happen to have this built in another area by chance that you havent uploaded? Thanks for the work.
Yeah. this is a issue since alot of the Mods are outdated. so at the moment I'm redownloading Fallout to test and see what works and see if i can make the factory for now more efficient and maybe use less mods..
but i think I'm going to maybe disable the download for now until i can fix some of the issues. because i don't want people to really Struggle with outdated mods., sadly i only built it at that spot. for instance the Zebrina mod is So so outdated. and i just used it for cosmetics i built all this in 2018, but uploaded it to yt in 2022
Ya no its all good, i just happen to come across your blueprint after seeing a video of a death factory and was intrigued and enjoyed how it works but thought something was wrong on my side why some stuff wasnt working. Im down for a new updated version once u get time as i figured some stuff was just outdated. Thanks for letting me know though and ill keep a check out here :)
there is a Smaller version i built on the channel if you are interested, that i there i show how i basically built the function of the Huge factory. but the smaller one is much more resource friendly and can at least be changed and stuff without worrying to much of screwing up the factory 😓😅
I actually saw that and have the video tab saved so i could add it to my settlement once im done tweaking my current place how i want lol, granted i do like the bigger ones technicality better cause of how complex it looks but no way i could copy that one at the moment, why i wish there was a mod that somehow could copy the blueprint from the drive in but still place in a different settlement but dont think there is.
i think workshop plus you can do the blueprint thing, (Please note xD i have never done that) so if you do save your game before and back up. as you have seen fallout isnt the best with Bugs and building stuff like this Safely "yet"
Oh trust me, i am the king on backups and save before doing any kind of changes, ill legit backup the whole game folder with MO in some cases so i dont break nothing and ya ill look into that workshop plus, never heard of it so we shall see, be awesome if it would let me move a whole thing around at once.
No kidding, I just had a instance where a backup saved me when i was testing something so ya, backups always a good thing. Oh also a update on that workshop plus+, i already had it installed apparently cause I use wabaajack for mod list and it was included and played with it and it does do what u say and i was able to save your build of factory and place it in like sanctuary but i was just testing to see if possible and it is but if you are working a updated version of the factory ill probably wait and use that version but ya u were right, i never knew that was a thing.
why not make a nice modular Factory that you can easily Fit into most builds? thats bit more efficient🤔 at the moment im awaiting for the mods i useally use to get updated and start checking what works and what doesnt. "but at this moment i have a ton of other projects im first focus on outside of gaming that why i've been posting very litle" although i have a couple factories planned out already to be built
Ya i started my actual playthrough and thinking of following your one video and making a smaller one, i just liked the complexity of the first one quite honestly. Also, idk if its a mod in the wabajack list or what but i noticed logic gates do not save the wire snaps during import of a blueprint using transfer settlements as i noticed this on my own blueprint, the wires snap to it but in the middle and not to either plug, weird issue but could be a mod causing the issue but ya if u ever update the mod ill snag yours by then but for now ill probably do like u said and make a smaller one.
I love this factory. After familiarizing myself with it, I decided to change one of the recyclers into a Soylent Green maker. Now I’ve got canned human meat being sorted into a bathtub—haha!
hahaha im glad you enjoy the factory😇 😅 i built it so that it can easily be changed or added to. so im honestly happy to hear you've made some variations😌
if you notice i recycle the meat really early into the starting of the factory, this was because meat tended to Glog up my factory, but if you remove the meat from the sorter that recycles it you can let it flow to wherever you want. always keep in mind conveyors can run without being on a machine. as long as they have power. i like to use height elevation and conveyors to redirect stuff, if you havent seen the Cola factory i made on Yt i recommend checking it out. very very compact build
I'll check it out. Speaking of cola, though, I added a Soylent Cola machine to this factory too. I also placed feral ghoul traps to the capture chamber and modified the Manufacturing Extended plugin so that the Auto Butcher gets Irradiated Blood from ghouls now. Here's a video I made about it:
At first I thought this was hilarious, but then I watched the video and really admired the intricacy of the system. I'm not going to use this since I like Starlight too much as a true settlement... I haven't messed with contraptions much yet but I'm feeling really inspired from this.
back when in 2018. when i build this. i was really really dedicated to making a factory that runs works perfectly in killing raiders and Sorting them, but kept skulls to keep track of how many it has killed, as messed up as that is... but i wanted the factory to make me feel creepy whether its day or night. i mean also i never intended to upload it.. for that i have to thank Fiddleflaps Vids - YouTube he motivated me to start a YT channel
i'm sorry to hear that. have you tried disabling all the animations and such for more stability? also if you are interested if you cant get the factory running i have a build video on my yt of how to make a similiar but smaller factory like this, that is basically a template to be extended to ones one liking
I've noticed after importing that some wires are not connected and the factory is not working properly. Especially the wires on the logic gates where the corpses fall down.
I dont know whats causing that. Can you share your settings for Transfer Settlements, aswell as the import settings? Maybe there is something going wrong there.

But the logic gates where the bodies fall arent to important, and just work to invert the function of the slider floor that catches the bodies..
i do have a video on my yt showing how to build a simple version of this, that can be expanded on easily, if you are interested. but as far as the wiring for the logic gates. i dont really have many fixes to suggest other than picking the stable import

Well, I've had several CTDs while messing around with this, but I've spent a couple days now playing with it. I am wondering, though, if you did change a bit since you posted this because I thought humans were turned into Soylent, but instead their meat just gets turned into fertilizer.
I've watched the video a few times and am still trying to figure out what the conveyors on the other side do.

When it comes to Soylent, i'm working on a factory for that.. This Death Factory only Recycles the meat into fertilizer.... and those Conveyors are there because i liked splitting the bones apart from the rest of the stuff, for incase you wanted to show case BONES.. Cause as much as this is a recource factory.. i basically just built it to kill people,, count their heads, and present their bones, thats why that extra set of conveyors.. plus for the Morbidity of it.
When i posted it. i had a ton of mods in my list, because i thought it needs all the mods, but i was mistaken it only needed the mods i used for that build... thats why i had too many mods, inlcuding Soylent in my Download Requirements,,, if you want to test my factory without Issues,, i've uploaded a save file version so you can exactly see whats its doing.... .also on the reason the bones go to separate conveyor and splits into two... is because it makes the factory finish quicker because bones are always last to finish therefore splitting it Wont GLOG the system.simply put,
before i would sit and it would take forever to empty 500 bone boxes xDDD 1 by 1.. think of this factory as a Extermination camp for Humans..
Looks like the Soylent machine was included with the mods you listed, so I added that near the end of the line, along with a machine to pull steel & purified water from the workshop for it, and I can't believe how many water pumps I had to install to keep that machine running.
I also cheated and used DarthWayne's antique but still useful Craftable Enemy Spawner to make the testing go faster and yes, your creation is very impressive. (I'm still hoping someone updates that dang mod, since he peaced out before the first DLC.)

Yes initially i didn't know my factory didn't need Soylent, but it does make a create extension. i used it for planning and making a cola factory that I'm working on, but stuck at moment do to those Inconveniences i just mentioned
i have a few factory ideas, but don't know which to start, bottlecap. Vault tec lootbox, Cola Factory.. i also do like this Chem factory idea you suggest
Put it this way...my current RPG playthrough is based on Breaking Bad. Innocent and upstanding citizen in public, evil druglord in private. It's the idea of a factory churning out Jet, etc. and having these huge pack-brahmins carry it all to the Commonwealth. I've got the ideas, but I have this blockage when it comes to actually designing it. It always ends up in a boring straight line. There's an older video where someone does the same thing... not quite as creative as yours, but the body-goes-in-useful-stuff-comes-out sort of thing. It just got me thinking Heisenberg. And your self-sustaining supplychain idea is brilliant.

But only from Recycled Bodies of raiders and gunners.. But then again at the same time, you can decide not to recycle the meds, and let it be collected instead of ammo being collected into bathtubs. Also I've updated the recommended mods needed for factory, a lot of the mods were not needed (Less Annoying Downloads)
also if I would give a nice tip for trying to make things little less straight line, is to build on Different levels. I am at a Blockage at moment where I don't know what type of factory to start next.
I do have to say! i love this Supplying the Commonwealth With drugs like in breaking bad its such Fun Cool idea.. I'm Literally playing no Mission, and just Running the Death factory on my 1 save to see how many Headcounts my factory can take in. and bodies it can recycle xD
If you're using Raiders and Gunners, adhesives might be an idea. Cola would be cool but how would you actually make it unless there's a bottling factory mod I don't know about. Whatever idea you come up with I'm sure it'll be as fiendish as this one. I'll take your advice on design, and I'll try to adapt this one for chems. I'll let you know how it works out.
i've noticed that all my sorters are empty and containers and i think it might be tedious for some to fill them up, so i'm trying at the moment to find way to get it to save all my items in sorters using ( Settlement transfer) but still looking for a fix
Note.. the factory make an insane amount of adhesive.. and when it comes to base vanilla game. You can, produce Toys, Clothing, weapons. food and option to make Cola with no mods.
