I want to clarify up front, I am not suggesting anything directly is wrong with this mod, and if you want to remove this post I understand, as its only loosely associated with this mod, but your mod helped me realize I'm having some sort of strange loading issue with my game, sometimes when I load up, the main music will play (instead of this mod) and I seem to get an infinite load screen when I try to load my save, it almost seems like it isn't properly loading custom files or something, however, Ill force close the game, and try launching it again, and then it will either mess up again or occasionally, I hear the wind, and everything works right, game loads up, Im not really sure whats going on, again Im pretty certain it has nothing to do with your mod, it just helped me more easily identify when my game loads up correctly, or when it seems to fail to load custom content, I have my ini files adjusted correctly, I am using F4se launcher to load up the game, anyone have any insights as to why it might not load correctly sometimes ?
I tried this mod, and also like another user posted exited to main menu then loaded again. It would not play the wind. I had to convert the .xwm in Special to a .wav and it worked instantly. I've always had to do that for every intro music replacer. I don't even know why.
I would assume to do that you'd need to get the sound file from the archives. Then run it thru a program(Audacity) to lower the sound in the file to nil. Take that file and place it in your game folder in the corresponding place.
don't want to report this as a bug, but mod doesn't work. I am using default main menu, i dont have a replacer for it activated other than this one. default music is still playing.
Cool. Glad you got it working. I had a problem too at first, then saw there is something up if you alter the ini intro settings. So i reverted those back to the original and no issue's now. Plays every time.
