The black blood leaf from Far Harbor is a bugger to find enough of, and it is used in a couple things. (food) Would be helpful to farm those on a pond or river.
I still have to learn how effectly place an object on the map (I know how, just the placing in a space without a visual is difficult), I saw there is a way to reload mods with Console Commands, but still have to check. I use Fo4Edit and I guess people use CK to do that stuff. I wanted to plant more Ash blossoms, in the irradiated lake south of federal ration stockpile for example.. Anyway, I'm going to make a mod with all the flora plantable in settlements. Out soon!
Unlocked Settlement Objects has that. It's on bethesda.net: https://mods.bethesda.net/en/fallout4/mod-detail/3516598 Be sure to install either the season pass add-on or individual plugins for the DLCs you have. All under the acronym USO.
I came here because thistle is the only one it doesn't add (as it's not treated as a plant like hubflower etc. in vanilla).
it is always nice to see some crops mod, strange thing no one ever made a pack of a lot of crops for settlement building, different kind of plants and that
Apple tree does a lot of it. I only heard about it when I made the Mod Plantable Tarberry and someone quoted it because of an issue and i checked it. I have to say I learnt something (like using LeveleItems on flora), but for me it is too big and game changer, more like a whole Farm Game on your Smartphone)
yea I know about that mod but in my opinion it is not something I like and it also add level list so yea I will not use it, it is good mod but too much, I would prefer just new crops that I can plant in settlements to spice up some variety, CVC mod add some of them but that is a big pack of stuff mod so also no, I would just like to someone make a mod that turns some flora to crops, like hubflower, ash blossom or silt bean, stuff like that
Can do! In my personal files i made buildable the planters (but I think there already were mods), I made Crops that needs fertilizer to be planted (planters need a bag of fertilizer) and working Plumbing for the greenhouses, so I can tweak a bit of things if you have something in mind, but I'm not a creator per se. I'm working on a Working Ice Cooler atm, but I can make Hubflowers/Ash Blossoms and Silt beans plantable if you want. Not that I didn't think about it, but the fact is that there are quite enough Hubflowers (275), Bloodleaves (over 170), Silt Beans (150) etc around the Commonwealth, so I was trying to understand how to place some Ash Blossoms in the Irradiated Lake South of Federal Ration Stockpile ( I only use FO4Edit so I don't have a visual) or making a recipe in the chemlab to create Ash Blossom from Melon Blossom + Nuclear Material (Since Ash Blossom is infact irradiate Melon Blossom) because it should only be placeable on irradiated water, but there is not an option and settlements that have it (Only Starlight Drive-In has nuclear barrels but you can scrap them)..
WOW I did not know that there is so much of them in game world but my idea for the mod is like I said before just to give some food production variety, they don't need to give same resources like when you pick them up in some other location just to be able to plant them in workshop just like carrots or corn, it is just boring to plant same crops in every single settlement and after 5 years of playing the game would be nice to have something new to plant, I use workshop rearranged as I think that is the best big workshop mod and number of small mods to just add some spice to it that WR don't have and place everywhere is must have mod if you are building stuff (in my personal opinion) but I have put a list of plants that I think would be cool to plant as crops and they are "ash blossom, glowing fungus, hubflower, aster, bloodleaf, thistle (you have done that here) silt bean, mutated fern and maybe that experiment plant from BoS ship, now that is my thinking but I am no fallout 4 modder and did try but just can't understand it all, did mod F new vegas in past but that game is far far easier to understand and I am only good for small texture edits with paint.NET and I did post in other mods about this but as it is I am just ignored, guess my idea is stupid or something or maybe impossible to do what I think it is not as CVC did it, now don't get me wrong I like CVC mod but to download big mod like this just for one thing is counterproductive and it is also sad that old workshop mods are left abandoned and there is plenty of good ones that just have problems since last patch but I am just blabeling right now, if you can put a small mod like that and don't take much time I would appreciate it, would be nice to have something new to plant beside stupid mutfruit and carrots
Look, actually the only difficult one was Thistle, because it is not a Flora, but an ACTI, is a trap and has a model that is not stable because is made to last few seconds and then becomes the model that I used to make it. I made Thistle Flora ex novo I can make all the flora plantable in a short time, I just didn't do it on my own, because I just started using mods and I'm not bored yet ( :D ). The only things that I can say is that Vault 81 planter, Fever Blossom do not respawn (are set to 0) and Mutated Fern is set to 10/100 (that I still don't know if it is 10% chance of harvesting or spawns once every 10 days or else), so to make it work I'll have to override everyone of those flora present in the map I can make them all just plantable, workable, producing food, a specific amount of food and using x amount of workpoints (you should have seen Thistle doesn't produce food and needs 0,25 workpoints). The hardest part of it is trying to make it balanced and you can just give me an input :P
I don't know what input I can give as I did not think that far, I have no idea how things work in F4 I just thought if you can make them in to crops and plantable and work like other crops that it would be just good and I don't know what workpoints are, is that like 0,25 workpoints is 4 plants for 1 worker or something else and if it is hard to make them produce food then make them produce what ever they produce, I have no idea how things should be set up as I am stupid for those things
Don't by hard on yourself! Workpoints are like this: 1 settler produces 6 points. Mufruit needs 1 point= 1 settler 6 Mutfruit plants. Tato 0,5. 1 Settler= 12 tato plants or 6 tato plants and 3 mutfruit or 3 tato, 3 mutfruit and 3 corn (to make 1 vegetable starch per day for example). Guard posts needs 2 points, so 1 settler for 3 points (and it makes a sort of patrolling). I guess I'll just put 0,25 for wild plants that aren't food.
oh so that it is how it works, I always just assigned settlers until there is no more red indication that no one is working on it lol and do what you want dude, I am grateful to you for even considering on making a mod that I would like to have, believe it or not only other one person here on nexus ever made a mod for me, and not just one but 2, I did give him models but he work on CK to add them to the game, most people just think my ideas are stupid but I have so many of them just can't get my mind around CK for F4, it is like Blender program, that thing is so so complicating
you are actually making it? wow thank you sir, I don't know what else I can say
I personally always had great time making mods, even if no one likes it I know I like it but I understand that it is boring making a mod for someone else and I am sorry if it is too much, I thank you for making it, not a lot of people would even consider updating there mods yet alone make a request mod, ty sir
Makes a lovely cup of tea, caffeine-free too. Just a suggestion for potential development is to craft with it, say like tea that gives a well rested bonus.
Actually there is a recipe in the mod New Recipes by KimChiBenny that uses it for cleansing (-100 rad). I use that mod, but I made lots of changes :P Like I added some FO76 recipes.. Also I differentiated the 4 cooking stations (there is one that you couldn't build) and each cooking station uses only a recipe filter: so you can only use ROAST recipes with the cooking spit, makes soups with cooking fire, beverages with the ground pot etc.. BTW i fear tweaking with perks, so the best solution would be to add +% bonus instead of a perk that you can already get by sleeping. Also don't overlook the fact that these are used also in Survival and it would make a mess with the sleep counter..

To plant it you need a sample!

Quite boring, but I hope I can learn a thing or two.
