I WILL REMOVE YOU POST IF... You complain about what you would change about the mod You did not follow the setup instructions
Please Post... Suggestions on LODs to add or modify LODs which do not match the building/structure they are attached to Bugs, crashes, strange behavior, help with setup, suggestions on clearer setup instructions
For the most part this mod is complete, I did not modify all of the LODs which have textures changed by 50 Shades of Rust. I will add more if necessary, but the process is slow and unless it is a major problem, I likely won't be adding new LODs to this mod.
As a xbox user and hobbyst porter, I would like to know if this xLODGen is mandatory. I had assumed that since the lod textures are merely texture replacers for vanilla mods that I could just insert them into a esp and they would do its thing. Isnt that the case?
I would not publish anything without your permission or the original author's, but I wanted to try it as a private file. However, I dont know much about pc-side requirements that are not CK. Would you care explaining it to me?
Yeah xlodgen is needed for pretty much any mod which provides lods. I’m not allowing porting or reupload of my mods, as outlined in the permissions and credits
No problem, thanks for the explanation, though. Yeah, console users usually have to accept all sorts of compromises. Its the same deal in Skyrim, poor draw distance and no means to generate lods for most textures and structures. Appreciate the feedback!
Thanks for this, but I can't get it to work. The rest of my LODs seem to be great, but distant skyscrapers still show in the bright white, blue and orange. I have the LODs overriding HD LOD Textures and Luxor's HD LOD and, of course, run xLODGen (a few times now) but am not getting the rusted LODs.
Not really sure what the cause would be aside from incorrect set up. Essentially all the mod is a set of textures that are interpreted by xlodgen, so something must be wrong with the setup since my mod doesn’t really modify anything. Just make sure my mod is installed after luxors lods/any other mod which adds lods and it should work.
Yeah, I just can't figure it out. It's definitely winning any conflicts. I reinstalled a fresh version of xlodgen and it's still the same. IDK if a mod is redirecting the lod texture path, like horizon and workshop do with certain things, but it doesn't seem to be the case. It's annoying bc those bright orange and blue lods are hideous. Thanks anyways!
