Installed this earlier and am still getting blocky, big green halo with Deliverer. Didn't test the other two.

edit: oh. I didn't think Bethesda could outdo themselves after scripts getting baked into saves in Skyrim, but apparently anything's possible.

It randomly happens with new games too.

I was able to fix the bloom on the deliverer by changing the Emissive Multiple value from 2.0 to 1.0 on each of the three shapes. You could make them even dimmer if you wanted by entering a lower value, and 0.0 will make them completely black.

I've been having this work intermittently, just like several other mods. It seems to be hit or miss if any kind of change in the data folder will be read by the game on any given new start.

I've been tempted to do with this what I ended up doing with their other games. And that is to extract all BA2 files and then delete them. Then dump all my edits into the data folder again, overwriting the original files, so that those originals do not exist anywhere.
I've had to do this for the previous Fallout games and for Skyrim's DLC files to get some content to read consistently.

Nice mod, any chance you can make it even less aggressive? maybe slight color change?
    Thx Endorsed!

I won't change the color of them simply because if I do one change, I'll get 300 requests for 300 different colors. I've had it happen before with mods lol. Even happened with my Atlantean sword for Skyrim. It was originally released as a resource that people could personalize and share, but people kept asking for different textures on it.

The green they chose for them is fairly true to the real world color of iridium, or Tritium, sights.

Side Note: When I was a kid, we could buy big jars of glow in the dark paint at hobby stores. I used that stuff for everything from toy skulls to flecking a star scene on my ceiling. And then the dirty hippies came along and cried that it was dangerous, so it went away. I guess the solution would be to soak the dirty hippies in the warm glow of Chernobyl and then grind them up for new paint.

    A Godsend! Thanks.
Can you do it for the Laser Rifle?

Yep. I'm planning on doing it to all of the weapons that have glow sites. I just don't have time to finish them at the moment. Hopefully within the next week I will though.

I, and a few others, have had issues with the meshes not overwriting in some save games. I'm still trying to find a common denominator. This game has the absolute worst save system I have ever seen, and I've been playing video games since the old timers complained how "Them fancy 'lectronic gizmos are hoggin' all our pinball space".

EDIT: So the gun that isn't doing it in my latest save is actually showing the haze like it should be instead of a square... even though the square doesn't exist anymore. I think I may extract my entire meshes ba2 folder and then delete the ba2. I want to see how far things are getting baked into games.

Another interesting issue I've encountered with this latest run through is that I'm seeing an effect from a mod I removed after testing, before I made this character. It's the supermutant lootable armor. I tested it out. It worked great. I removed it since the only thing the armor is good for is selling. So all of the supermutants in this latest game have lootable armor even though this character didn't even exist until after I removed the mod. Bethesda really fucked up with the saves. I mean it's not surprising given their track record, but Christ humpin' a monkey! I don't think they could have broken it anymore if they tried.

"extreme lack of quality assurance that surround every aspect of it" This is the most eloquent and succinct way I've seen the game's problems summed up.

Hmmm. I haven't actually seen this issue in my game but I can imagine how annoying it would be. I'll keep track of this incase the glare gets as bad as your screenshots.

It could just be something that hits with lower graphics settings. I'm running the game on an abacus wired to a Lite-Brite. Everything looks like an old Gumby cartoon. No seriously. It all looks like it was made out of clay.

AMD 4x 2.2 gig processor with 6 gigs RAM with an ATI HD 6700 series card. I'm literally below min specs.
But this Great FPS Boost saved my bacon. Went from 1 frame every 20 seconds in urban outdoor combat to 20 frames. And out of combat it doesn't dip below 30.
Then I changed the default FOV settings I added into the ini from 80 back to the actual default of 65 and I'm running at a smooth 58 frames out of combat. Still get the stuttering when there is more than one bad guy to process.

I'm just happy I finally got these to work lol. I had replaced all of the flat planes with the cylinders, but the PPK kept showing the old glare mesh until I started a new game. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure how it was still showing something that didn't exist.

So the Deliverer will only be fixed if I start a new game, or is there something I'm missing here ?

No clue really. It only happened to one of my characters' saves during testing over a period of 3 days. When I changed to a different character, it worked perfectly. The "new game" I started was actually one of several saves I had made at the exit of the vault, prior to fixing these. It wasn't actually a whole new game. It was just a game that I hadn't gotten the pistol yet.

But, with that said, over the course of days of testing these, that initial game turned out to be the only one I had the issue on. And this game has a LOT of issues regarding saves. They are intertwined like roots on grass. On my main character ( the one I tested this with that wouldn't change the mesh look ) I cannot properly enter vault 81 due to that elevator bug. I had entered it and gone down the elevator, took the tour, got the gofer quest for the girl and as I went to go back up the elevator it got stuck in a permanent loop and never stopped. I reloaded my save inside vault 81 and it happened again. So I loaded a save where I was approaching the vault. I had never entered or even discovered it yet, and sure enough, the entire inside set of walls and floors was gone out of that save too. I had to use TCL to get around just to go into the vault. So all of my previous saved games with that particular character's name were utterly broken due to Bethesda's blunder.

And if that weren't enough, there's the "For your safety" bug. Find a bridge with landmines on it. Make a manual new save prior to going to the bridge. Now run in and let your character die due to the landmines and load that save you just made... all of the landmines will be gone, "for your safety".

And people wonder why I slam their devs so harshly. Non existent QA is just one of the many reasons.

I tried one other character I have and a downloaded save, won't work for me. Then I tried some other things like removing the sights and crafting new ones, deleting the whole weapon and spawning a new one... nope. One thing I noticed, unique items get generated by a script I guess ? (got no clue how this stuff works in detail) When you spawn the Deliverer via console it's called " Suppressed Deliverer Pistol " and is missing the special effect. That's the one thing I didn't try, to actually do the quest with another character.

Oh well it's only 1 point accuracy, for now I've just removed the glow sights. Anyway thanks for your effort. When it works it does look really nice (standard 10mm).

Yeah, I am thoroughly not impressed with everything that is intertwined into the saves this time. Short of a few random CTDs outside and the ever predictable CTD upon leaving Virgil's cave for the first time, every other issue I've encountered has been baked into a save game, which means it is baked into every save game with that same character name due to the utterly retarded profile system they attempted. On the play through I'm doing at the moment, one of the sets of sights isn't using the meshes I altered because after making my main character, I made two others and happened to use that same name for one of those saves. Even though it never left the vault, apparently it has tons of magical future information already baked into the save.

Howdy! Trying to lol. It's kinda hard on an abacus wired to a Lite-Brite. I don't know what I would do if I had to play this game as intended on high graphics settings.
