With the 2.0 update, this mod changes fundamentally. Nora is now a full member of the Fallout Ladies series and comes as a HiPoly Replacer. Please be sure to read the new description!
GlowingHeart drew my attention to the fact that it would be appropriate to upload an already HiPoly edited version as well. I had previously assumed that it would be sufficient to offer a HiPoly compatible preset and then activate it in the game in the MCM of HiPoly Faces. With the update there are now two possibilities:
A LowPoly (but HiPoly compatible) version for which HiPoly Faces Redux is NOT a requirement.
A HiPoly version (edited json.file) for which you need HiPoly Faces or HiPoly Faces Redux, as it is activated immediately when you call up the face in the looks menu.
I took the opportunity to make a few small corrections in the face profile of the private version.
That was now 8 times "HiPoly" in the text, I hope you still know what I mean.
Thank you for this charming preset! I like the original Nora pretty much) Btw, may I know what type of vault suit replacer did you use for screenshots of her?
I can only tell you about my own experiences. If you only use the mod as a replacement for Nora (activate face preset with console command, for example), there should be no problems in the middle of the game. However, if you use the mod together with Nora Spousse Companion, you have to start a new game and call up the preset in the character menu. As soon as you finally start the game, the game saves the new face, which makes it impossible to remove or add it later (at least I haven't found a way yet).
Simply use LOOT to sort the plugins. I know people complain a lot about LOOT, but I've been using it since my beginner days and have hardly ever had any problems with it.
Hi Lama, big fan of your sexy Skyrim followers .Btw, can't you make the replacer version standalone like the Skyrim followers you've made?
Spoiler:
Show
You know standalone -> bundling and renaming all the needed textures in requirements and adding them just like Skyrim follower mods ,provided texture mods in FO4 have perms available to do so.
It'll be a lot more easier to avoid texture conflicts if we want to go for the replacer version only.
I have to admit that I haven't looked into the standalone question for Fallout yet. that would definitely be a nice thing. I'm just afraid I'm too tired to study at the moment. I had a lot of time for Skyrim back then due to the lockdown. But it would be tempting...
Big fan of your work in Skyrim LE SE, many downloads over the years. When we starting a LO for FO4, obviously looked to see if you had anything in this world, THANKS to the Nine! Very pleased to see that you do, and of course, as if you knew what I'd be looking for, here they ALL are. We've downloaded your Ladies, Cait, Piper, Curie, Nora, Heather, Magnolia, and the NPC's AIO, which ALL require the Cridowskin to have them look like your pics. I seriously need your help/direction, I need to choose one or both options. The Cridowskin mod download page has several choices for "basegame" and "unique player". I assume unique player refers to me the pc, which btw no doubt I'm using your Nora replacer for that. Would your other replacers for the above mentioned be considered part of the basegame, or because they are all (imo) "custom replacers" would they also be considered as "unique players" too? I also assume your replacers are strictly facial, not including any body meshes, so we should still need to download not just the facegen files but also the Cridowskin body files so the skin textures match from top to bottom, YES?? The body we have, the off-site Fusion Girl body, downloaded for Nora and the NPC characters should be fine, YES??? All of your other recommendations were easy and straightforward, just need clarification, what would you do???? THANK you again for ALL of your Ladies (& guys), you have an elite talent my friend.
I use Cridowskin. On the screenshots you can still see Cridow Skin in connection with Natural 2K Face Textures. In the meantime, however, I have uninstalled Natural Faces 2K and use Cridow Skin 1K Faces instead. If you use ENB, you hardly see the difference and have fewer FPS drops.
This helped me; I switched to the 1K face because a lot of stuff came out weird with CridowSkin. Specifically, African-American skin would not match their face. I am assuming this because a lot of the default NPCs still have vanilla face gens maybe? Any time the skin color was not white, there would be some kind of color mismatch or the face would be rusty with no eyebrows. I tried a lot of things, but I just never could get it working right with the 2K face.
If you install the complete Cridowskin package, all NPC faces will be changed. I like this texture a lot, although it lightens darker skin tones, so when using another texture the faces then become too dark (which is sometimes annoying when creating replacers). As far as I know, there is a fix for the rustic face bug here on Nexus. However, I personally have been using the 1K Face since January.
Actually, I take this back. Some NPCs still have a different colored face that is drastically different from the body's skin tone. Checking some posts over on Cridowskin, it seems maybe I have to do something with Face Gens. I didn't read too much. I am just ignoring it for now.
With that being said, I did the 2k face and the 1k face. Your presets look perfect! It's really just an issue with the skin and other NPCs only :)
Yes, in your picture she looks more like a dominatrix Do you use Cridow Skin? If yes, please deactivate all tweaks of the texture (eyes, eyebrows...). I recommend the 1K Faces version. If your machine allows it, you can also use 2K Natural Faces. I always create my faces with Cridow Skin. The problem is, if you cut a face to one texture, any other texture will change it. Very important: please install "Large iris if eyes".
The ghouls in your game look like this? Everything I have already posted to you, everything I use in terms of mods and settings, you can read in the description. There are no secrets or magic that I use, it's all there. If it comes to such phenomena as in your game, then it is due to your setting, which I don't know. Search your build for mods that edit the appearance. I've gotten quite a few posts showing faces changed by different textures. But never anything like yours.
You say "activate her face as described above" and I can only translate that as load the mod I have all the requirements, i don't need it as a preset and it leaves Nora companion as vanilla and face looks aged. It's the Nora spouse companion mod face untouched. I selected Nora private 1 option , the brown hair parted in the middle, that is not happening. Nora was not in the MCM menu to enable. I'm not a fan of preset vanity and do not play female but I wanted this on Nora companion, oh well. Put her in a trunk in Joisey!
load order: NoraSpouse ver 1.2 9, LKsNora.esp 21, NoraSpouseFarHarbor.esp 120, NoraSpousePatch.esp 121 Somone thought I should have a patch, I will disable it and see if your mod takes effect. nope still not overwriting the face. maybe its the farharbor...
I'm having a bit of trouble translating your post correctly, but I guess my Nora doesn't show up for you. I also play exclusively male characters, which is why I actually made this mod. So, install my mod with the mod manager, start a new game and click through the preset faces in the opening menu until you find Nora. Then switch to Nate and customise him however you like. Start the game and Nora will look like my Nora when you find her at the farm.
I downloaded all the mods you recommended, when new game start, I skip the intro...it just stops at the white screen. The faces never fade in, just stops at white screen. Do I need to rebuild in bodyslide? I have 3bbb body, is it conflicting with that? Don't know, don't like something...
This mod here is just a looksmenu preset that cannot cause such errors because it is just a slider preset for a face. I myself do not use the 3BBB body in Fallout and therefore have no experience with it. Whether a texture mod conflicts with the body meshes used can usually be seen in the preview window of Bodyslide. To test it, use the skin texture you used before. To find the culprit, the old method is still the best (and unfortunately also the most time-consuming): Uninstall all recommended mods and then activate them one by one to find the mod that disturbs the game.

All the best and have fun with Nora!

I've made my own patch, but I though I'd suggest you make a patch for the ATF plus version of saving Nora.
Cheers :)
Usually you can just overwrite at any point in the game.
I am assuming its...
[CBBE+Other stuff for Preset]
[LK Nora Preset]
[Nora Companion Mod]
