Thanks for downloading this alternate DoF configuration file!
*****************************************************************************************************
Please note that this was developed with RenVision ReShade
(http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3703) installed, and the game launcher settings set to:
Resolution: 1920x1080
AA: Off
AF: 16x
Lighting quality: Ultra
Godrays: Ultra
Depth of Field: Bokeh
Lens Flare: On
Deviating from these settings may possibly get rendering results that I didn't take into account.
You may possibly have DoF issues with sights on some weapons (I didn't test them all). If you do,
and it hinders your aim, just press F10 to toggle the effect off. The effect was originally for
screenshots only, but I optimized the effect well enough that it should work just fine in normal
game play.

Installation:
Install ReShade framework (http://reshade.me/),
Overwrite with RenVision ReShade (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3703)
Plop my McFX.cfg file into the ReShade folder that's in your FO4 directory, and overwrite when
prompted.

The overall intent is to provide a subtle, cinematic DoF. This is in no way supposed to mimic the
human eye.
If you experience Bokeh in real life, please visit an optomitrist A.S.A.P., as that ain't normal!
The effect complements the lens flare, using similar hexagonal Bokeh to stay consistent.

This is my first time doing anything like this, and it was done for my personal use. I may update it
or provide alternate DoF settings in the future, but as it stands, don't expect tons of updates or
special request orders. I still haven't even gotten to the Institute after over 250 hours of game
play, so I'll be more focused on actually playing the game than reading comments.
As for permissions, feel free to use this CFG in your own shader suite. Credit would be appreciated,
but not necessary. Like I said, I'm more concerned with playing the game than how many endorsements
I get, or if someone wants to use these settings. Knock yourself out. :)
