The way to the basement is still blocked and there is nothing underground when I go down there with ~TFC. The mod is loaded at the bottom of my list, after every mod including prp and with the original esp of CZR being replaced. Does anyone has the same problem? Any solution?
Why was the bug report of Stanley the bartender using a woman's voice closed? It's still an issue. Also, if you refuse to fight in the arena and the raiders attack you, the quest stage appears to be one stage behind what it should be: when I kill the last raider, I get a quest pop-up telling me to "Eliminate the remaining Raiders" and Tommy and Cait just crouch in the ring telling me to finish the job. Even if I kill everyone else (the security guards, Patches, Stanley, the handler, and the two tied-up raiders), nothing changes. I know doing this kind of defeats the purpose of installing this mod and I don't intend to do it on my main save, but it should still be an option. Also, I think all the loot in the main room and Tommy's office besides the Picket Fences magazine should be marked as stealing.
Maybe you need to install the Original Combat Zone Restored for the Main and Texture.bsa https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21498 since this one only distributed the fixed .esp of the Original and replace the Original one wiht this mod instead
Never had issues until recently but whenever I talk to Tommy, all the Raiders go hostile like vanilla and I get the objective to wipe them out. Not only that but the markers for the raiders are missing making it impossible to complete.
exact issue here, with or without companions, they only turn hostile after caits fight is done and tommy asks to talk to me, have you found any solutions? do you happen to have horizon or something that changes the raiders installed?
thanks for every ones about what you say. I hate trouble and more if i can corupt my save so forget this mod. You know i like playing but not to spend hour's to corection...anyway we have so many mods in NEXUS why get trouble. Have fun to try to fixe a mod when is not full compatible. Theirev only 900 peoples aprouve this mod on 40.000 so...
Here is something important for anyone having issues with this mod. I had problems with the quest not visually activating and no quest markers or instructions. The quest activation seems directly tied to your first discovery of the Combat Zone location itself. If it is already on your map, you will have an issue with the quest not showing up. However, it is still possible to proceed through it with a bit of chicanery. You can still almost do all of the quest and get Cait.
Before you do this, check to be sure you don't have a mod that changes Cait running or any radio mods at the time as, for some reason, they can cause issues with this mod.
What you will need for the Command Console: - Quest ID: 0002074B - SQS command (Show Quest Stage) - GetStage - SetStage - unlock
A list of all quest related console commands can be found here. If the quest hasn't visually activated and you can talk to Tommy, you can use SQS to check what stage of the quest you are on. Before you talk it should be stage 205.00, and after you talk to him it should be stage 210.00. If the quest markers still haven't picked up for you, just follow Tommy's instructions. Go downstairs, take the left lift up, and if the fight doesn't trigger and you can't have a conversation with Cait, then you need to manually advance the quest to the next stage. NOTE: You can only ever advance forward, not backwards.
To advance the quest, use "SetStage" with the value of 300 after it, so "SetStage 300" which will pick up right after the fight is over. I have checked every stage of the quest between 210.00 and 300.00 and most of them will do nothing, some will cause everyone to attack you, and three are one liner combat comebacks from Cait (probably for different health levels). Trust me, I spent way too long on this, if you are in the situation I was of not having the quest visible, just set the stage to 300.
After this the fight will conclude, Tommy will invite you to his office, and Cait will go to leave The Cage. The door will remain marked as "INACCESSIBLE" so you have to manually unlock it. In the command console simply type "unlock" and click on the door so it shows the door's ID and press enter. The door can now be opened.
Follow Cait to Tommy's office, have a conversation and take Cait with you. That's it! Have fun, and don't waste as much time as I did.

Two other things of note that I have found. One, sometimes Cait's visual tracking is off in the cutscenes when doing this (read as not looking at you or not facing the camera). Two, the completion of this does not trigger the secondary quest for fighting and betting*, and I suspect this is tied to the lack of the first quest being properly triggered and activated, as the second one's activation is probably tied to the completion instance of the first.
bro, this looks like it will completely work. Next chance I get to play, I will try this out and let you know how it goes. Without trying yet, I am fairly certain it will work. Thank you so much. I like Cait because she is pretty much the only one that does not curse, except for arse. Curie, McCready, and I think Valentine also do not swear, but Cait just has a little charm to her, maybe it's because she is Irish. I am part Irish and I have always want to travel there. Regardless, thank you very much, I will give this a try.
It did work out but my game crashed because of Player Comments mod and then I was really screwed. The only way I could complete it is by using setstage 550, or completing the mission where you clear out the raiders. At least I have Cait now. Thank you good sir.
never had any problem with the original mod, at least the last version posted... sometimes the combatants can get stuck on the elevator or can't get to the arena itself for the combat but that's it.
