I've installed(NMM) and all 4 files have entered the plugins list. I have Armorsmith Extended also. -Should I use the base file AND AE compatibility patch for the desired level(50or100). Or, just the patch file?
Thanks for the reply. Its a simple mod and it works. Plus, makes my game better as I feel like I have 'options' and levels of rad defence -I don't *have* to use the Hazmat or PA.
If you're looking to do more, you could try making the NBC suit boots and gloves from the travellers coat, standalone items that provide better resistance.
Out of interest, what is the formulae for Rad resistance? what exactly does 50 and 100 mean? I note the Hazmat is 1000!
"The rad is a real unit, being equal to 0.01 joules per kilogram (1 rad means 0.01 joules of radiation was absorbed by 1 kilogram of matter), meaning radiation absorbed dose." -http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Radiation
simpler version: the more the rad resist you have the better(<--you don't say! )
It appears that when i added a targeting HUD at the armor benchmark it cancelled out the Gas Mask Hat Fix by leafonthewind which makes the gas mask take the hat slot again,
It would be awesome if you would make a fix for it.
And if i may to suggest, you can raise the rad resists to max 250 for more immersion,
And again, thank you!
* I just checked and when i turn off and on again the Gas Mask Hat Fix by leafonthewind, the gas mask can be used again on the mask slot only BUT it cancelled the rad resists buff BUT didnt cacelled the HUD targeting i added to it.
Sure it should - ionizing radiation is made of mainly alpha and beta particles along with gamma waves. Inhaling alpha particles is incredibly damaging but they are easy to filter. This is where the gasmask comes in. Beta particles and gamma waves will still irradiate the user, but no alpha particles will. Not to mention that the user won't be breathing in radioactive dust, which is the main source of radioactivity.
Of course, don't forget the gameplay aspect of it.

But i have one slight problem with it,
