Let me know if there are any issues. If there are any suggestions for other balanced mods which add acids, I'm also interested in hearing them.

When rain falls it is usually not acidic, but once it starts flowing on the ground it becomes acidified enough to eat through limestone. A very mild acid that is just strong enough to eat limestone and make small pits in rocks, not sure where or if this might be useful, but there it is, you asked for more :) This basically means dirty water is a mild acid, what to do with this I am not sure, just food for thought.  (Hydrofluoric Acid)

I'm aware of acid rain and how it'd probably be a more consistent factor in Fallout, but the issue I have with implementing this into a mod is just.. How to do so? I'd have to add it so that rain-gathering items can give X amount of acid, hahahaha.. Maybe something to do with Dirty Water... Hmmm... I'll give it some thought.

Just use dirty water, it IS a mild hydrofluoric acid. Didn't mean to cause a headache ;o)   Maybe 10 dirty water makes one normal acid?  Actually, I am not referring to acid rain, which is caused by pollutants in the air gathered by the rain as it falls, not the same thing. Pure water is non-acidic, but after it runs on the ground it becomes acidified, mildly. Which in the case of FO4 would be dirty water, I think :)  This basically means that when drinking dirty water you would get some radiation, but also get a tiny amount of physical damage, hense 10 of those distilled would make a decently strong acid for crafting purposes (and the condensate would be pure water), maybe?

Do people actually have that much dirty water just sitting around in their games? I don't as I'm constantly trying to utilize it in some way with another mod so as to make Nuclear Material, but if people do I would consider it.

Perhaps a recipe of something such as

      6 Dirty Water
3 Flasks (2 for distillation into the one extra flask)
2 Plastic (Both to replace plastic tubing.. Maybe I'll just make this an item in itself)

      Gives:
      1 Acid
      1 Purified Water

Hmmm, as for uses of sure a fluid?  Maybe etching glass or metals to make fancy decorations like the gold work on that gun you made sites for?

Making etched glass could just use a 'decal' to frost the glass like the damage decals that get applied to concrete to make it look aged.  In fact, the 'regular glass' in FO4 is hard to see through, this is nearly exactly the effect this would have on the glass.

Seems like an interesting idea, but I do not have any form of knowledge regarding modeling or such things. Sights for the gun were actually pulled from a gun which was already in the mod and then stuck onto the gun in the mod which *didn't* have those sights. If I ever learned how to do such a thing, I'd consider something similar as a way of "repairing" them or some such. Seems like a neat idea.
