Love the plans you make. Just finished Old Guns and am wondering how this build plays with SS2 Chapter 3 and the war mechanics? Am a bit concerned that my older PC won't handle your excellent plan (Love the grid being redone, thanks) along with the stress of HQ, built up settlements, and the war mechanics. Like to know before I reach that far into the main story line. Although, I love this Castle plan soo much, I may just dive in head first despite my misgivings! Kudos given. Thanks Cool Beans
this is a city plan, so it will not count as an outpost in ch 3. be mindful of building warwick's and spectactacle island super big because it can create a southern triangle of death. other than that, works great ch 3. was built on my old rig, so shouldn't be too taxing.
Hi. Love this plan. I have a query though. At level 2 I seem to have a lot of building materials just lying around. Is that normal? Do I maybe need to adjust my load order?
Ok so it updated to level 3 but the plan completely changed. Certain plots doubled up and the power and water sections were longer there replaced with other municipal plots.
sounds like major script lag. sometimes workshop framework will mess up a city plan upgrade and end up leveling up the city plan without deleting the old plots. because there's so much script back up, this leads to the plan not upgrading properly. you're safe to delete the duplicate plots and manually select plans. by this point, you should have all level 3 plots with hi-tech power and hi-tech water. sorry that you experienced this.
Hello! It would depend entirely on whether or not the add-on packs required are on Bethesda.net. If they are, then I can create and upload the mod to Bethesda.net for Xbox users to enjoy. If they're not, then the plan will likely not function well and it would be best to not port it over.
I believe I removed it after the last update to ensure folks wouldn’t update to 2.0 mid-use of the old version and break their saves. If you think it’s been long enough since the update, I’m happy to add it back!
I assume the warning about not upgrading mid-playthrough is not upgrading an existing castle settlement with this new version, yeah? I haven't done castle yet, so I should be ok?
yeah. basically, if you used the old version, don't use the new version until a new save out of an abundance of caution. that being said, i know you and if you baby the power grid, you can get away with it if you had the old one installed. (i tested it in my current playthrough just to see what would happen and it seemed to treat it as two separate city plans, so scrapping the old one and building the new one caused no issue)
I've installed all the requirements but on my game nothing like your screenshot, instead I got metal scaffolding not a brick wall like your picture, this is the screenshot https://imgur.com/a/p82R6cK any idea how to fix this?
Ok, so I can install the mod before i start a new game, right? But I can't choose the city plan in the SS2 desk, until i have finished the quest, right?
Love the design - but you might want to be careful in the future when you update the file that you don't change the plugin file name. Can cause issues with people's load orders and missing plugin warnings because the save is going to look for a plugin with the same file name.
You CAN change the plugin name, but I am not sure how SS2 and the game fare with that. especially if you are using the city plan.
A more neutral plugin name is better, and you can put the version number into the header, at least in xedit, you can add an entire description there, too.

so I need to keep the plug-in file the same name from now on (1.1)?
