Wait... I thought this was supposed to make the revolver fit nicely above the western revolver and .44 revolver without being overpowered?
Currently, looking at my in-game .44 revolver that's maxed out, a maxed out Hunting Revolver now does the same damage, same range, same rate of fire and has one less round in the cylinder.
How is that better than the .44 or western revolver?
Nothing against your mod, just had to make an immersion point.
I've always struggled with the fact that a man who has lived his entire life with a revolver in his hands, is apparently in possession of a masterpiece revolver (Ranger Sequoia) and he just leaves it like last weeks Publik Occurences paper.
Can't help but think of the movie "2012", when in all the chaos, with a literal garage full of vehicles to choose from when the question comes "Yuri, what are we doing?" Yuri replies "Were taking the Bentley" - with the expression like pffft, what do you think we are doing!!!- arms wide in gesture.
It's a literal no-brainer of epic proportions, but I guess Kellogg gave up his brain a long time ago....... :D
As is often the source of problems, installed this patch without reading it closely enough. It reduces the base damage a tad too much for my taste (esp since I have another revolver mod that makes it redundant). I can make myself a patch with FO4 edit tho, and I am thankful for this mod's other changes. Cheers!
Also, PS: Your mod description says 'Handmade Revolver' in the 'LOAD ORDER' section, I assume that's just a mistake.
There are 2 record conflicts with STS hunting revolver patch - replacer version. But they can work properly together if you load the STS patch after my patch. No conflicts with the addon version
Awesome stuff, can't wait to check this out. I'm a huge fan of these types of mods- in fact, I've released a few of these tweaks/updates for some other popular weapon mods.
If you'd be interested, I'm more than willing to collaborate with you and share what I'm working on!
I just checked your profile and realized I've downloaded 3/5 of your unofficial updates in the past. I remember thinking how grateful I was to come across stuff like that. Also I sent you a DM.
So is it JUST the hunting revolver that's in the level lists, or the Ranger Sequoia too? Because, not gonna lie, I think I like it a lot better that there's only one Ranger Sequoia in the entire Commonwealth. Just makes more sense for it to be wholly unique.
Just Hunting Revolver in the leveled lists. RS remains unique and in the same spot. I'll actually make more weapon patches like this and I'll probably remove uniques (or make separate versions with/without uniques) since I don't want to come across OP stuff at every corner. But I absolutely had to keep the Ranger Sequoia, those animations really make my day. Also thanks for the question, I should mention this in the description.

Or will I have to re-download it from nexus instead (I'm afraid of losing my gun in-game)
EDIT: Turns out I did have the nexus version installed. But I'll leave the question up since it might be relevant to others.

It's a rare ammo, after all, and the .44 is much more common.
